Dear Riot Games & Rioters alike,

I have been playing League of Legends for as long as I can remember (Season 1, respectively). I have tried to reach out to other Rioters and Riot Games, time and time again, trying to confront them about the many issues that other Summoners like myself have been complaining about since League of Legends conception.

This is my issue: Many summoners like myself, have to take a journey. And no, I'm not talking about a Bard E (Magical Journey). I'm talking about the climb. The climb from one Division to another Division (Silver to Gold, Gold to Platinum specifically). It's really discouraging to me when I have to try to calm my teammates down, and almost beg them to focus on the game or the task at hand. I know that we are all humans, we make mistakes, we say things that we don't really mean, I'm not going to sit here and say that I'm the perfect example of what to expect in a teammate, I've been banned for 14 days, I've yelled at others (yes, even cursed someone out for taking a blue buff or a minion wave), I've belittled others, and all around made people feel worthless. It's not fair to others. And I'm sorry about that, but the issue many others are facing and have been facing is the climb. You get the people who rage and leave the game, you get the people who have just had a bad day and can't cope, so they afk, or they simply won't acknowledge others when they need assistance in a team-oriented objective that could possibly win them the game. This isn't fair to me, and it isn't fair to others. I admire the work and time it takes for the community to respond to problems of others, so thank you in advance for that. But I have recently obtained Gold 5 this season, and within a few weeks, I have been demoted to Silver 1. It took me a lot longer than expected to reach Gold than I expected (Clearly I'm not the best at video games haha), and it was discouraging to feel as if the actions of others, made my hard work and dedication amount to nothing.

But my point is this: We need to start taking the Tribunal System seriously, It's time to end all the negativity of others that impact the way we play. Some form of solution has to come to light. I'm honestly tired of being an asshole to others, so I'm trying to do better so that my teammates can enjoy the game. I want to experience the joy of winning an hour long game, and gracefully accepting defeat to the better team. I want others to realize, Normal games are just that. Normal. Ranked games are serious to me. I have many goals and ambitions when it comes to climbing Divisions. I just want the best experience that this game and community has to offer when trying to take that next step in Divisions.

I guess you could say this is just a rant, but it's an honest issue that has been bothering me for years when trying to play ranked and hone my skills. So please, if anyone is reading this, that has the same concerns as me, speak up. I know I might get hate or barely any responses, but I wrote this out of love and respect for the game, and for people who decide to play ranked and are serious about the game as much as me. So to anyone who reads this. Thank you, and sorry for taking up your time.
