No need to be positive, just don't be an ass and you are free to go.

Because game play is responsible for how you control your behavior? This is a new one.

"It's not my fault! The game made me do it! I may have told him to kill himself, but this champion we were playing against does so much damage! Why are you blaming me?!"

If you dislike the game so much, why play it?

When they chat restrict you they just want you to know your comments are snarky. They don't want to force you to be the "don't give up guys" player, All they want is you to remain neutral, nothing more.

The reason for toxic behavior is the lack of emotional intelligence and maturity. Anger management issues, incapability of dealing with frustration, and so on...

Nothing Riot can solve, they're not your therapist and they're definitely not your mom. All they can do is protect the good players from the bad ones with chat restrictions.

As other people said, you don't need to be positive, you just need not to harass people.

Im rarely positive in my games in chat. 5 years with no punishments. You dont have to fake anything.
