So, life has literally been rough as hell the past almost 2 years between losing friends and family to unavoidable circumstances such as layoffs. This game has been my only real escape from it all, if even for only a few moments within the day. Today I was banned from my account because I responded to a duo of trolls who were overly aggressive and angry towards me because I was having a bad game. In the past, I tried to correct my faults by either muting someone or just not speaking in chat at all. Well, I responded with what at the time seemed like a harmless retort and information about the players being rude and how it would affect the game and what could happen to them. Suddenly after one of them report me I'm banned.

I was recently informed about a 2 week period as to which you must show improvement to be de-escalated within the punishment tier. I personally would have thought I made it through that. My honor level was increasing and win or lose, I still had fun and tried to keep the banter to a minimum. I have a few questions to be honest because I have played this game for so long, it seems unjust to kick me to the curb without actual and helpful feedback.

First and foremost, I do believe everyone should be entitled to a second chance on their accounts because life does happen and it is human nature to exude one's emotions in whatever outlet they have. Secondly, I saw that the question as to why the transition to a bot was made and I agree from a financial standpoint it is nearly impossible to go through by hand. That being said, I believe that every perma-ban; should be fully reviewed by an actual person and not the bot that initiated it in the first place.

This game has brought so many of my friends together as a place where we can come together no matter where we are in the world and play at any time day or night. I understand that the system is in place for a reason, I don't consider myself to be special, however, I am just asking for a second chance. Even if it means suspending the account for a long time. I personally feel that minor chat offenses-those that do not contain hate speech- should not be weighed heavier than someone who is intentionally feeding and otherwise ruining a game. Banter is encouraged but there is no real set limitation on what can and can not be said except for hate speech, this creates a void where many seem to fall victim. It makes sense for players who intentionally try to lose games, or are racist/homophobic to get permanently suspended, but for players who have disagreements a permanent suspension seems wholly out of place.

Paragraphs... Please try press enter twice a few times after so many sentences. It makes people want to read what you have to say while not attempting to claw their eye balls out at the same time.
