you know whats sad?
when i started to play league (or more like when i hit lv 30 in season 3) the broken normal mmr matched me with a lot of diamonds and plats. a few of them became my friends. it was actually quite decent i had some toxic ppl but overall the game was really enjoyable. then i started to play rankeds. i wanted to become plat or dia to play together with my friends. i made gold pretty quick... but then it started.
my goal "become plat to duoq with buddies" changed into "become plat to play with non toxic ppl again". isnt that really sad? eventually i made plat 4 (which is the highest i ever got) and still ppl were toxic as hell there. so i said fuck it and went back to normals. but ppl were toxic there aswell.
i dont know what changed. maybe over time? or my mmr? or maybe i myself? i cant tell.
and then came the new honor system with honor rewards... this is literally the saddest thing ever.
the amount of times i see ppl with honor lv 4 or 5 ward skins literally saying "ok thats how you wanna play :)" because the jungle took 1 minion from them and then they start to int is just sad. it makes me sad to see this. i see soooo many ppl go afk or int while spamming their higher honor lv ward skins. it just makes me lose all faith in riots system. and the fact that the punishement message is rare only makes this worse.
i started to play this game for fun then to become better but still for fun then to become better and escape toxic ppl and now i just play and hope i dont see another person with a honor lv 3-5 ward skin running it down over something as simple as "wow jungler took 2 minions from my lane that almost died to the tower"
and i cant stop. this game only drags me down but i love it. league is such a cool game i cant stop playing it. but actually it only makes my depressions even worse. its really sad.
and im not one of those ppl who post like daily "LoL is dying" but the fact that casters arent live in korea because riot has to save money. the fact that there is a mission giving rewards for watching worlds. the fact that ppl dont flame as much anymore but instead run it down. the fact that riot employees can call all males crybabies on twitter and no official statement is given. the fact that these employees "leave the company" and not GET FUCKING FIRED. the fact that i as a female feel disgusted by the stuff that happened at pax with riot still saying "we stand behind our decisions at pax"
that is a sign that lol is slowly dying. and it is sad. cause i love this game.
