League should notify you when you get reported.

Just feels pretty unfair when someone is much more toxic than you are but goes away unpunished because you decide not to report but I am punished because I responded to toxicity. People who report should also be checked out because they can be tilt-baiting.

Why? I don't feel like being told that I've been falsely reported every game. If you chose not to report, then that was your choice.

If you weren't doing anything wrong in the first place you shouldn't/wouldn't need to make this post.

They did have a period where they had a "You've received recent reports" popup. People freaked out because they thought they were getting banned when it was just a recent spike in reports.

Re the title: kinda, from an individual standpoint; but otherwise, I can't see much utility.

Re the rest of it: the more you study others' behaviors and motivations, the better you may understand your own.

I do think people should be notified when they are reported, .. but I don't see how it would be beneficial in the way you are describing.

From my perspective, .. I've never received any kind of restrictions due to behavioral issues, but I would be genuinely surprised if I had never been reported, and I know for sure that there have been times where my behavior should have been reported.

So this puts me in the position of not knowing where the line is. .. It is entirely possible that I am a single report shy of receiving an actual restriction. It probably wouldn't be anything severe, and it most likely wouldn't go beyond that, .. but I have no way of knowing.

From the other side of things, ... I imagine it would be difficult for players who have received punishment to know for sure that they are actually improving. This shouldn't mean that they get a report card that says they can only get 4 reports a week before they should expect issues, meaning they can troll for 3 games and they'll be fine, .. but if they get a report that shows that they have received 3 reports this quarter and 4 reports last quarter, .. that is at least some improvement.

That's not a bad idea, although that should only happen when the report is valid

It would be a way of saying "Hey, You need to calm down!"

OnT: When somebody is being toxic to you, Do NOT respond, it doesn't help you, it doesn't help them (unless they are a troll) the best option is to ignore it or mute the player

or do what I do, go "XD" !

That's your fault for not reporting. I dont see the problem here.
