Unreasonable ban for being wrongly accused of toxic chat.

It seems unreasonable that this was found to be outside the acceptable standards for a competitive game. I swore once, at scuttlebug. Some context about that chat and other players; I called a guy a dick for constantly abusing me, bantering at me and blaming me for his mistakes (even when I was dead) and called a guy who called me a homophobic slur MULTIPLE times toxic. A lot of the chat is basic communication like strategy, constructive criticism, saying gj, nice etc. But to some on the comment threads, they think they have the moral authority to pass judgement over anyone and think that the context of me being harassed and bullied doesn't matter in viewing my chat. https://exploringyourmind.com/danger-calling-someone-toxic-person/ Perhaps read this if you think this culture of branding people as toxic is productive.

You spend the entire game arguing with your teammates. Nothing authoritarian about calling that toxic. You can “comment” on your teammates’ choices without being rude, or you can recognize that in most cases they won’t change in time for your sake, so your commentary won’t matter.

Also, triumphantly declaring that you’ve muted somebody, while certainly not enough to get you punished on its own, is incredibly passive-aggressive and detrimental to team cohesion. All you ever need to do is mute, report, and move on.

Yeah youre a whiner. In life and as a principle, theres nothing wrong with that. You can whine all you want. But in game, it is against the rules to constantly bicker of player mistakes. Punishment deserved.

Understand that you messed up and try not to do it again

Continue to be in denial, in which case you'll likely be back here when the 2week ban strikes.

All the goody two shoes who pretended like this chat log were toxic are ridiculous. the very first chat lines in this were attempts at team work. He was harrassed for simply being cooperative, then his chat is in response to a team who are already set as hostile. He's doing his best to communicate and not swear, not harass or excessively flame. From what I'm seeing, you high horse posers really need to get your heads checked out.

You complain and try to coach and ask stupid questions too much. Youre the classic complainer and self centered type that makes me sigh when I realize that person is on my team. Its like you're attention starved. So much unnecessary, negative chatting. Negative attention is better than no attention though, right?
