as far as i know theres no rulebreak when you are bronze/silver and you duoq with someone who smurfs and his main is actually plat/dia+ this way you can get boosted without being banned, if you are so desperate to reach gold or higher.

i seriously dont get why you would have s1 else play on your account to boost you. like whats the point? "yay i was bronze for 3 years, now im plat wahey watch my mmr drop way faster than i drop division and thus completely fuck my own account."

correct me if my first part is wrong.

also do me a favor and dont spam the riot support when you know you clearly got boosted THIS SEASON. maybe you let someone play on your acc and boost you 9 months ago? then accept it. you f'd up

Yeah, I don't understand it, either. I've been playing with an MMR higher than I deserve for a while now because I took a break from the game and my ability to play it atrophied an entire tier. It's fucking miserable. I have no impact on the games I play except when I feed. I have no idea why anyone would want to pay someone to put themselves in such a situation.

Someone on here got banned for two weeks for boosting. I assume it was duo boosting since account sharing gets you a perma regardless of boosting?

Wait, why ARE people punished for boosting aside from permabans if they SHARED THEIR ACCOUNT?
