So tired of my champion being banned by my own team mates

So the past 4 ranked games i have played, my own teammates have managed to ban the champion i planned on playing without any hesitation. I don't understand how its possible for someone to queue ranked, and proceed to make the game less enjoyable for other players. Ranked is supposed to be competitive and serious, yet its still possible for your own team to prevent you from playing a champion. This is the equivalent of team killing imo. There needs to be a system to prevent your own teammates from banning your champion or at least a way to report them at the end of the game, because I am sick and tired of going into solo queue and my own champion being banned by incompetent trolls, putting me on tilt before the match even starts, and creating a toxic environment for the rest of the team. If rito really cared about the players, then they'd find a way to fix this stupid issue.

This banning of champs by your own teammates is getting old fast. Everyday and 1 out of 3 games last night alone. I put up 3 champs and my team banned all 3. Pissed me off. They thought it was funny. So did I when I picked the worst counter and played. Can't back out cause you get in trouble. I didn't feed, protected the tower,mute everyone's and watch the team fall in 11 min. Now that's funny. Then after game start blaming me for there loss. Even funnier was when the other team found out what happened they got into it with my team for doing it. I got honors from other team for sticking it out. Point, don't troll me cause you won't like my feedback. I am tired of trolls,feeders, nonsense games. Waste my time. Riot has something I want really bad. Can't come to the idea of getting it because I can't find a reason anymore to care. I have yet to see riot responded in any way to any of this.

You can report for unsportsmanlike behavior. "Being a team player begins at champion select"- The Summoner's Code. Directly trying to inhibit your teammate is the definition of unsportsmanlike. Just type what he did into the report box.

Otherwise, really you shouldn't use pick intent. People will only use it to troll you or at best completely ignore it.

This happens to me all the time, it just annoys me so much that the rest of that game is no fun and i feel like dodging. They need to come up with a system that prevents that to happen.

and idiots should be kept from ruining games with new champs they don't know how to use

Whoever banned Sol in your last game should get a 1 win IP boost for adhering to the principles of ranked (which is, victory is more important than fucking around). Take him to normals and get crushed repeatedly there without shredding 4 other people's LP in the process.

I am so disappointed from the LoL community... Someone mentions a problem they have and everyone in the comments pretends to be an expert and a "I know it all" jerk... First let me tell you that I had the same problem in several situations where I was picking brand/kassadin/leblanc mid or even nasus top. Sometimes people just dont take the time to observe your pick or they are just jerking off, realize they need to ban someone before the times run out so they just ban something in a haste. Other times they are just jerks and trolls. Now to all the experts in the comments:

Even if you think you should ban an op hero because you dont want the other team to pick it first you should FIRST ask your teamates if they can trade. Thats why you have the chat box... to COMMUNICATE
If the first/second pick can not trade then let your teammate know why you are banning his hero dont just be a jerk

I had a game today where the first ban banned brand (my main mid) so i show them that I will pick leblanc instead. The second ban bans leblanc. So I pick kass. I was the third ban (last pick) so I was like ok just f*ck them. Our first pick was jungle and picked kass. Unfortunately you will always find people that their life sucks so much the only joy they can find is in trolling... like a 10yo bully

Its hillarious that you guys are making his thread a completely joke. When he just wanted find a solution to play his champ witch he probably put hours in and over course of time climbed with. Think if it happened to you ,your own champion getting banned? it hasnt happened too you i guess or else you wouldnt react in such chidlish manner.

What are the circumstances of them banning your intent pick? Are you first pick? Are they concerned about the other team picking? etc. Also, what champion in what roll is this happening with?

If it's normals, it's a douche bag move to ban. This does not apply to ranked. If you're last pick and nobody can trade with you, they have every right to ban a champion so the opponent doesn't pick.

I troll every game if my team bans my pick. Every single game. That is the only way they learn. Pick Vlad + smite = you ruin your jungler's early clear..then you go bot and farm with Q and smit cannon minions.

This is continuously happening to me. It's so aggravating that someone feels some un-needed reason to ban a champ I showed that I wanted to play. It happens for no reason too? There was no words in chat even before banning, just for some reason decides to ban the champ.

Why..? Why would someone purposely make their team mate pick someone they don't wanna play and possibly risk them losing?

this is seriously an issue and greatly frustrates me and ruins my enjoyment of the game because someone else's opinion doesn't like the champion i have fun playing with and bans them without hesitation.

please fix this, i hate trolls banning my champ...

if they ban your intented champ you should be able to dodge without an afk timer or something like that however this doesnt seem like a sustainable solution

maybe just being able to report them in champion select and riot really paying attention to this kind of behaviour would change it? if riot doesnt adress this problem its gonna get worse over time and more and more people are gonna start doing it with the new champion select.

pls fix this

Are any of the champions you plan to use Flavor of the month, considered OP (by the general players)? how do you know they just dont want to play against that type of champion? Assuming you can even get said champion!

Can Riot actually do something about this, because I'm tired of my teammates refusal to let me play my champions, ones that I have good winrates with and instead I'm forced into roles with champions I have minimal experience with due to their "hillarious" bans. This is a team game, and I'm tired of having what I want to play banned from me - and heres the thing: I'm playing in meta too. Bard supp, Lulu supp, Auri Sol, etc. These champions ARE META. And how is it fair for me as a player to have to sit through a 20 minute game with a champ I didn't want to play because my team banned my enjoyment. This needs a solution, as its sad how toxic players ruin games before they even start. Please fix.

Just had this happen to me 2 times in a row and it often happens to me. Because I like champs that others dont like or that have low winrates or w.e. They instantly see I hover the champ and then ban it. But lots of the time if I don't hover it they will ban it too. Sometimes its hard to decide. Plus it reveals that i have horrible allies if they instantly ban the champ I want to play. There is no good reason. You think maybe they will play better if I ban this champ but you are almosttttt always wrong. They will do best on the champ they want to play almost always mainly because people always get good at the champs they like to play and also they will be upset you banned them out and toxic environment has begun instantly. Its just really likely all u did is ruin the teams teamwork and chances of winning. I don't always play my best champion that would make me a one trick which few people are. The person will play a champ they are worse at or dont want to play, or troll u on purpose, or ban or pick the champ u wanted to play. Or dodge. Idk its really frustrating. It should be a feature that if u hover a champ ur allies cant ban it.
