After 1 year, I just came back to honor 1. Here is some advice

Don't do it. Seriously. It takes a mind-boggling time. it also makes you lose morale to do ranked since you get no reward, and you basically lose access to free cash which is loot boxes. the penalties have a more punishing effect than you can ever think. You can go from checkpoint 3 to 0 in a blink of a eye, which each checkpoint can cost you a month of intensive gaming.

DON'T RISK IT. There is basically nothing "worth" if you are honor zero.

Everyone in this thread needs to chill out or it's getting locked. Find a better way to discuss that doesn't involve bickering or name-calling. If you have questions or concerns about this action please visit us in the Moderation Discord here.

Stop being an annoying little flamer. That's much easier than climbing your way out of honor 0.

As much as I appreciate the sentiment, I think you're giving the wrong message. Raising your honor back from 0 shouldn't be about the rewards, it should be about you not being a toxic shit. Your honor drops because you were being repeatedly toxic. To tell someone to not bother raising their honor is essentially you saying "Don't stop being toxic." And that's a terrible message. If you stop being toxic, naturally your honor level will rise. That's all that really matters.

If you had actually changed your behavior it would have been much faster.

I play about 3-4 games per week, I was honor 5 about 2 months ago...

Just some advice...

Play honorble, don't flame you team(flame the other lol), when you feel the urge to curse and blame your teammates — just hold it down to yourself..

Well I am human.

So are your teammates, everyone makes mistakes, if you forgive them for playing bad and still honor them, your honor rises pretty fast

Then maybe you can still reach honor 2 before the end of season :)

It's so hard to come back on lost honor that it's almost not worth trying. Once they decide to set you to honor 0 for a bullshit reason, it's so difficult to get back you might as well get the instant gratification of flaming and inting.

The advisor that threatened to lock the thread is a cuck child with a stick up his ass. The whole point of good moderation is that a couple bad apples ought not spoil the bunch, and this thread being locked for a few people on it not being polite is doing just that. It is assigning collective guilt, and that is wrong.

Everyone levels honor at a different pace. Some do it 0 to 1 in less than a month.

I mean, it's hardly a choice.

if people spent any large amount of money or time on their account, it's just not worth it to restart. if you didn't, then yeah, you can just make a new one. but most people do spend money/time on their account before getting banned.

Or you could just not be toxic lol

Gilgayu11/3/2018, 7:29:38 PM1 votes

Oh and never, NEVER mute others unless they are giving constant commericials or something like that. Communicating is important, and it is what keeps me under control, and not toxic, most of the time ;)

It permanently reduces your honor gains too. My smurf gains checkpoints way faster and I don't act differently at all.

A year? That's an odd time to be honor 0. Did you ever write support asking why you weren't progressing?

Chef Spaghett11/3/2018, 9:08:43 PM1 votes

Took me 1 month to go from dishonorable to honor 1 checkpoint 3/3. I am human too but I don't use that as an excuse to justify toxicity in a video game. Don't forget that valid reports against you will SLOW DOWN your progression. So even though you aren't getting slapped with the penalties, those reports you are receiving are stacking up higher and higher and you'll eventually get whatever punishment the system dishes out to you.
