That's ridiculous every few games even in ranked someone bans my pick even if i am FIRST pick and correctly picking lane and champion for that lane. That's extremely annoying and if you got this 2 games in a row its really hard to resist to troll ban his champ or just afk.
RIOT pls make some kind of warning if you are going to ban teammate's pick intent
i agree %100 that riot needs to solve this, you should also be able to report before the game begins and if 4/5 people report this guy the q ends and the one reported gets the dodge penalty.

Even I don't want the cancer that is teemo on my team.
Even if I have a first pick jax, I still ban jax cause odds are this person doesn't have that much practice with the champion (how many ranked games will they get where they can be a jax?...) and they're better off using a jungler that they have been using in the 99% games where jax was banned. Honestly I don't even ban the usuall bans because they're broken, especially since most of the time they're not good for the previous reasoning, but because of these instances were my allies may choose them with little practice outside blind pick, where nobody really does ranked strats.
I don't know what you're going for but I honestly don't blame people when they do this. I blame the pick if they just whine and feed on purpose because they didn't get the broken champ they desperately need to win.
I hate when people do this to other's. I've then seen players ban that person's champ or pick the one they want to get back at them. What a nightmare.

Just dont put your intended champ out there.
There's plenty of legitimate reasons to ban a champ your teammate intends, none that I can think of if you have first pick, but still.
The thing is, if you pick intent you give the opportunity to your teammates to complement your pick, but because of *******s who think they know what you should play ban your pick you have to hide it instead... Banning your teammates' pick is the exact opposite of teamwork.
