Banned for saying artichoke ingame?

After a bad match of being griefed, and ping spammed 900 times by the guy griefing you, call him an artichoke and discuss how broken some champs are? Get perma banned... Your jungler comes mid, takes 70% of your cs and shoves your lane, gets you killed cause of a gank cause you dont want to miss xp cause of that, he spam pings you for the next 2 minutes... Discuss how unbalanced a burst champ that cant be bursted is, and say your jungler needs to not be an artichoke to beat those types of champs, getting abused after game getting called a "Waste of Oxygen" a "piece of sht" a "Retarded Scrub", "Dumb", "Retarded (Again)" and "Boosted" reporting him does nothing, he still playing, but however you get banned for saying artichoke? Really riot games?

Quick Summary Jungler ruins lane, spams you, verbally abuses you after game, call him an artichoke, discuss how you could have won the lane against that champion, get PERMA BANNED for unsportsmanlike behavior... -Artichoke is some sort of fruit...

Can someone tell me what sort of trickery is this?

Can we see the chat logs? I doubt you were popped for "artichoke".

Well that's a lot of negative contribution to the game chat, which detracts from gameplay, even if this player on your team was being an "artichoke", that doesn't mean you should be one too. I understand that this was a rage fueled chat. Also riot doesn't take kindly to things like asking for reports or telling people you are reporting them, because it usually just encourages more toxicity. Choke is probably a flagged word too, so that's already a couple things right there. Calling someone a toxic loner also might be considered a personal attack, idk. I'm not sure this deserves a permaban though. Have you received a 14 day ban before? If so your account was already on thin ice. I've been there.
