Honour Flairs and Mastery Badges

Hi all.

For yet another year, we are entering preseason. And as has apparently become ritual for me at this point, I am posting another thread, begging Riot for the ability to please, PLEASE hide my Mastery and Honour flairs on the loading screen slice.

Let me quickly recap my key points.

The Honour and Mastery badges are completely unremovable once you qualify for them. I have gotten around this system in the past by submitting a ticket to Riot and discussing the topic at length until a Rioter gave me a temporary chat ban and then immediately removed it, to reduce my Honour to one. However, this situation is not ideal for a handful of reasons, not least of which being, because I have a desire for my right to privacy to be respected, I had to lose access to my hextech rewards for a protracted period of time, and this was not a one-time issue.

The Mastery badges are even more unmanageable than the Honour ones - I've actually taken to not playing my favourite role at all for the recent past, because I am wishing to avoid the Mastery badges I have visible on my mainstay supports.

I am well aware that many of you reading this will either think I am trolling or completely fail to understand, so let me summarize:

I wish my privacy, even in something like a video game, to be respected.

The unavoidable badges placed on my loading slices are not doing this. I don't want the attention they draw. What I did last game or in any number of games previous to earn an Honour have no bearing on this game. How much I've played Rakan has no bearing on this game. I just want to keep my head down in this game.

The ways I've found to get around these systems are not ideal, as they lead to me losing out on rewards from the Hextech system, and to me not playing my favourite (and best) role and champions for fear of the attention. These systems are also the primary reasons that I have had frequent hiatuses from the game in the recent past.

TL;DR: Please, Riot, give me a way to hide these badges, that isn't crippling my gameplay or the reward systems you implemented. I love League of Legends and I don't want to have to do such things.

I've literally never had anyone comment on my Honor or Mastery level, I'm very skeptical that it's causing any problems other than what you're projecting onto them yourself. If someone is harassing you for any reason, Mute and Report them.

I’ve never had my honor level commented on, and nobody has mentioned my mastery level since around season 5-6.

I get the desire for privacy to an extent, but a large company like Riot isn’t going to implement a feature for only one person to use.

So what's going to happen in S9 when everyone can see your highest rank?

Granted everyone within your team might have the same rank, so how does it matter?

The honor ones ... every has them as well. As long as you aren't the first ones to hit to hit a new honor level, you won't stand out.

That's like asking for us to be able to hide summoner levels, cause people expect us to do great things just cause we can be over 1000 now. It won't happen
