Banned for streaming?

I stream and use a couple of recording softwares i have yet to get rid of since riot added the new patch with replays in client match history. I was banned for my account using unauthorized 3rd party apps for an unfair advantage, however i play with my stream on. People see me play all the time. Ive never use scripts or anything else for an unfair advantage . I really need help from the community cause they refuse to actually look into my account and are extremely impersonal . They just say we have evidence and are sure there was no mistake and this case will be closed. They even spelled my name wrong when adressing my summoner name. I have 1000s of hours invested into my account and probably a grand at least invested in skins and in game items through all the gifts i have gotten over the 5 years of playing. They gave me no warning, just banned it. I have given out 25$ gift cards on my stream and give to the community and strengthen it . Share this and get me upvotes so someone takes notice to this mistake please.

You present this as if you were, for a fact, banned for streaming software.

You don't get banned for streaming software. It is totally fine to stream.

When you opened a ticket, they confirmed that you were using unauthorized 3rd party apps (usually scripting).

Spelled your name wrong? I recommend submitting a ticket, if they messed up who they banned due to an error they can fix it.

Just to provide some additional information in the more likely event that they didn't make a mistake, it's highly unlikely a recording software triggered an illegal app/modification flag which resulted in your ban.

What specific applications do you use while playing League? Sometimes players will use X program's feature for a harmless modification, but if that program has illegal feature built in the entire thing is off limits (Mkjogo for example).

Do you share your computer with anyone else that plays League, play on a public computer, have you ever shared your account information with someone else or use the same login info for other games/accounts which may have been compromised? Sometimes it turns out another player with access to the account or computer was using the mod/app which resulted in the ban, but the account holder is held responsible when they aren't practicing proper account security.

i dont like scripters. Riot is a company that is very verbal with their players and gives attention to the community like no other. Mistakes do happen i get that but because it is unlikely a mistake would happen i think you were a scripter and anyone altering the outcome of a game using anything but their skill and knowledge ruins the experiance. I say stay banned.

Well, riot have fucked up alleged 3rd party software before. It wouldn't be the 1st time someone was banned innocently but they are "100%" certain that you were guilty, and just close the ticket like... "case closed!" The major problem is you have to go out of your way to prove you are innocent while not seeing the evidence against you so you can properly dispute it.

edit: lmao at the down votes when the cases are here on the boards.

you used software to record the games that interfered with the client, not streaming tools, did you download any applications to record your games SPECIFICALY designed for league of legends?

Well, I suspect that the software you were using for the streaming might have been giving an unfair advantage in some way. (Just guessing here mind you.) From watching one or two recent streamers, I have noticed that some of the streaming software used, provided indications of where certain shots might land, ranges of skillshots, etc. Sure, it might not be scripting as such from the player's perspective - but it could constitute an unfair advantage were the streamer also to see the streamed content.

Moreover, if you were running a 3rd party software program at the same time as doing the stream, and it is recognized by Riot as granting a user an advantage, then you could well have triggered a scripting flag.

That could be enough for a ban.

Not to be rude here, but I'm pretty sure half of the idiots here saying that you should be banned don't know there is a 30 second- 2 minute difference from the actual ingame time. He can not use this for an unfair advantage.

Also @Âtlas if you want a true case you might need more people so post it in Reddit and make a compelling case so it may go on the top threads so you may get your voice heard. #wordondarift

I feel like he should be given a fair chance for the reason that it seems it was not a thoroughly investigation. Also a fair chance for him to say his side of the story. Also if he actually used a 3rd party software to give him an unfair advantage and if in that time he has Riot should check when did this occur and how beneficial was it for him. Finally if it was a normals game he did this on than why should Riot care if this was surely was an accident and the reason on how he really had an unfair advantage. I feel you man crazy sh*t happens and all of a sudden you got to pay for something that was not your fault.
