How do you tell the difference between soft-int and off-meta?

The enemy Amumu was also in my previous game as Xin Zhao and was mindlessly pushing top and dying over and over again with a total of 0 trinkets placed for the entire game.

Looking at his past history, he also had games playing Brand where he rushed Frozen heart with 0 AP item. It's appears he is weaving legitamate games with int games while not saying anything to play the system. Can anyone tell me if he's just playing off-meta or trolling?

He didn't go 1/6.

He went 1/6/10, which is more participation than the Zilean on your own team.

And going by the overall scores, this wasn't a stomp either way, 32/31 is a close game (in kills).

Sure, he did a completely off-meta build that may not be suited for Amumu, but it looks like his participation is in line with (or better than) everyone else. Did your Yasuo soft int? He has 9 deaths. What's your criteria?
