Tribunal System

I'm just curious as to how the Tribunal System works. I have a few questions:

-What determines if it goes to an employee to review? (Or do employees/actual people ever review cases)

-If once in awhile you tilt, and say some nasty things (profanity, so forth), will your bans escalate quickly even though you rarely are toxic?

-From the point of the causing game, how long does it take to receive your ban?

Basically if you use the chat system for anything other than giving compliments, you are going to get banned.

-Borderline cases, not sure what else. Really clear cut cases are handled by the system.

-Depends on how nasty you get. If you are really really bad, you will get punished. Being a bit salty every once in a while is generally forgiven.

-Instant or next game, if it is a clear cut case of toxicity. Sometimes it has to go to review, but usually the system handles it. Feeding, it can vary, because an employee has to check unless, again, it is really clear cut.

First off.... Thank you for actually trying to learn about how this stuff works instead of saying "it isnt working i didnt get a notice" like what is normally here......

  1. from what i understand, there are people who do look at cases that are more subjective.... A bot can tell if someone said something excessively rude, but it cant tell, for example, of intentional feeding. They could just have a bad game afterall. What determines if its reviewed.... Id suppose it has to do with how detailed the comment box on the report is, (example: this person said "you autistic little kid, go die" and said "...." etc..... Be as detailed as you can and it helps) but what determines it entirely, hope someone else can say more.

  2. things happen once in awhile, dont be excessive and normally it isnt an issue. Ive said a few choice words, but normally at myself or just saying it.... Also try not to say it to/at others. I havent had any issues, but i think every year or something they remove minor offence stuff.... Again not 100% sure but not sure if there is verification. Also you will have more issues about multiple offences in a short time, offences after a week or a month are less of a problem.

  3. depends on how serious the offence. More serious, faster the punishment. Also depends on how much looking into it needs to be done. Sometimes it takes a few minutes, sometimes takes a month or so. If you report someone else, you may not always get a notice. If you are worried that you will be muted/reported... Just try not to have too many offences in a short time is my suggestion lol, and just because someone reports you does not mean there will be an issue.

Thats the best info i can give you, hope it helps.

The tribunal doesn't exist anymore. They use a completely automated system now.

Getting a manual review takes either a front page Reddit thread, or doing something the automated system is poor at catching. Intentionally feeding or AFKing/leaving games can get you a manual review, but chat won't.

Second question, it depends on what you say. Some things are considered to be more toxic than others and can get you escalated quickly.

Third question, usually right after the game ends as it is an automated system handing out the bans.
