Banning System? How come I was banned but not the other player or summoner?

I just lost my rank game and got banned because of my bad behavior. It all started when Jayce my top lane died one time to enemy jg and he instantly raged at me. I was jungle and he wanted me to get dragon but I decided to help him. He did not like whatever I did. Whatever I did he just raged at me. The player's summoner name is [REMOVED BY MODERATION-NO NAMING AND SHAMING] His bad behavior was worst than mine, and he started the whole argument between him and I. Of course I got mad when he was being toxic to me so I said some things back to him. What I don't get is why is he not banned but I am. His behavior was worst than mine, started the whole situation, and caused my team to lose the game. AND overall I was doing better than my whole team.

Let's have you understand the behavioral system a bit more. Think of it like a health bar (or tension meter) in music games. When you hit the note at an off beat, your tension meter increases. When you completely miss a note, the meter increases by alot. When you hit the note at good timings, it reduces the meter.

Riot's behavior system works the same way, as in we all have a toxicity meter attached to our accounts. When players are mildly toxic, it goes up a tad. When people use hate speech, it pretty much fills up the meter.

It is possible for playerA to get punished and playerB not to, even though playerB was waaayyyyy more toxic . Let's say playerA started the game with the toxicity meter at 95% and playerB's at 35%. Ingame, playerB said some pretty nasty shit and playerA responds with some smaller shit as well. After the game, playerA gains 10% toxicity and playerB gains 50%. Now playerA is at 105% toxicity and gets punished, whereas playerB is at 85%, and not punished in that specific game, even though playerB was found to be 5x more toxic than playerA in that game.

First off, I removed the name from your post since name and shame isn't allowed. Second off, you don't know for sure if they got punished or not but regardless someone elses poor behavior doesn't excuse your own.

Did either of you say a ZTP (hate speech, invitation to self-harm)? How close were you guys from your respective punishments? What punishment level were you guys on? Even if you didn't get the notification, he may have been punished anyways. You can play through chat restrictions.

I spent 5 thousand dollars in my account and I got permanently banned because I were toxic in a normal game, now I lost my account and the support make me feel like if I kill someone
