Ranked - Problems As Early As CHAMPION SELECTION?

I am un-ranked. I've only been ranked before for 2-3 seasons max. I can't quite recall. All I would like to do is be able to play my provisional matches without someone on my team trolling right out the gate. I've played 6 matches this season. In total I've been in about 10 queues this season, because I have dodged some. If you need me to paint it black and white, that's 4/10 queues that had people who attempted to grief as soon as the champion selection started. My last queue, 1st ban from my team was my own champion. When I asked if he was aware, he told me that only he can play the champion "Swain". I even inquired if he was aware that this is ranked. He was, and cursed at me. Why do things like this happen so frequently? This community is awful and it always has been, but I love this game. I tried to quit because of the community before, but couldn't. Please, start doing something about reports. If someone reports, YOU SHOULD LOOK AT IT. You should start cracking down. Ban more. Less time bans. More entire game bans. Sure, the system could be abused. But at least then people would be on best behavior. People should be afraid of reports. Not brush them off because the community judging us might just overlook it because "who cares, big baby". You claimed to wanna fix the community. Fix it. Or let me start offing players.
