Don't match make me with people on my blocked list.

I'm sure it's been said before but here goes anyway.

At least give us an option when we accept the queue, maybe warn us (this team has players from your blocked list, do you still accept?)

I could live with that. I know match making is already an issue and you're trying to reduce autofills, but I don't know if it's because i'm at low elo but I frequently get matched with people on my blocked list, and there's not that many people on it. It's annoying because they're there primarily because they are really toxic or straight up trolls (inting, not playing their assigned role, harassing people, etc).

That's really my only major gripe with the game. thanks

Unfortunately, this would be abused by almost every Challenger player. They would just block everyone in their games and get matched with lower elo players, since the possibility of people to be matched with in that elo is very low.

In lower elos it wouldn't matter, but in higher elos it would ruin everything.

from what i can see block list does absolutely nothing. i got matched with a lulu main 5 times and each time she exclaimed in pregame chat i was on her block list. first 2 times i shrug it off but after that it was demoralizing so i sent a support ticket to have the staff look into it. it does not auto mute, it does not prevent you from being teamed up, it does nothing.

Let's not forget that Blizzard actually tried something similar in Overwatch. They used to have a feature where you could put someone on a list after playing with them, and never be paired with them again. It got to a point one of the players was on so many "do not match with" lists that he was playing with people not even close to his skill level because he was sitting in the queue for too long. It ended up being removed.

As good as it sounds on paper, it's not so good in practice.

Giving players absolutely any control over matchmaking, especially for ranked queues, is a recipe for fucked up matchmaking.
