Can Toxic Players avoid Bans through misspelling?

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of playing with one of the most toxic players I've encountered on LOL.

[REMOVED BY MODERATION-NO NAMING AND SHAMING ALLOWED]

He used many expletives, threats, cited rape, etc. but with horrible spelling (maybe intentional?) Does RIOT only pick up on correctly spelled words when flagging players that should be banned? No action seems to have been taken against him as he continues to play.

You cannot Name and Shame here on the boards, remove his name, or mods will remove your thread.

System will pick him up though, don't worry. And even if automated part of it will not, manual review will do the trick, after he would be reported multiple times.

The system learns based on reports. It will also match misspellings and intentional avoidance of the system and learns from our reports.

So the answer is while he might get away with it for a little while he will eventually get punished.

Unless it's a misspelling that the mean words bot is instructed to look for, usually yea

High enough volume of reports without tripping the bot flags for a manual review tho
