If someone is spam pinging you, and at least 2 people cussing and swearing at the start of the game. There needs to be a option to leave game with-out being penalized. Great way to go about this would be to have a report player for (reason) dialog box beside or above the leave game option. I'm all for banning people that leaves games, but if someone spam pinged me for auto-attacking a lane minion, then insulted me 4-9 times and said he felt like snapping my neck, I or anyone else for that matter should be able to leave along with everyone else that reports what happened and jump into another game, while the automated system checks the data and compares it to the in game chat record and issues a ban to either the players that falsely reported and left or the player that drove them to leave the game. People will cuss at you and purposely drag the game on for over an hour typing insult after insult to just about anyone, doesn't matter if you're 15-3 or 2-11. This way all the actual "Toxic Players" get banned and all we are left with is good games. Just to clarify there is a large amount of players that by pass the system to to turn it into a weapon against player's with good behavior.

Keep in mind, the person spam pinging you is not the only person you would be leaving to the fate of a 4v5.

Mute pings next time you enter a game. Doesn't matter what sort of game it is; do it before anything goes out of hand. Individual pings can't be muted, so it's necessary to turn them all off. Missing some pings because you don't happen to see them is better than people using them to tilt you and you getting potentially banned for it.

Secondly, the moment that someone seems like they're going to be even slightly divisive, mute them. Don't get dragged into the trap. It's only getting more common with time.

Chat bans exist, and players with them are still allowed to play; you can't be banned just for refusing to talk, and starving instigators for responses (which are fuel and justification) is the only real way to combat them.

I smell someone who has some misunderstanding in how the system works.

i wonder how that could be abused

That'd be pretty impossible. What if you report and leave, but Riot doesn't think they were toxic enough to justify that? What about mute? If you're getting trolled, ya leave the game... but even that is hard to determine. But just toxicity makes you want to leave? Just mute them, man. So there's a lot of problems with that.

I don't think a forgivable leave is the solution to not be with bad teammates. It has the potential to being abused to the point of wrecking queues and making games not fun overall.

Part of being an adult is facing adversity and situations that aren't ideal.

If you can't handle awful teammates with the tools you're given already in league, then you have to toughen up a bit. You're annoyed they're cussing you out? Mute them. If they find another way to grieve you, like say ping spam? How about asking for a mute pings from player option.

People are responsible for their actions and also their reactions. If you want to just up and leave a game then you have to understand there are consequences for ruining a game for 4 teammates. If two people are cussing you out, report them after the game to make sure they understand that they are responsible for ruining a game for you.

People need to learn that it's either a system that punishes leaving, or one that doesn't. There is no middle ground
