Toxic players...

Honestly, I didn't ever think I would post anything on here, but I have been seeing a lot of really toxic players lately. Or at least, I am starting to get a little bit better at league (certainly not great or anything) but I understand the basics, you know, focus objectives and farm, if you can get kills do it, other than that dodge skill shots as much as possible. I kinda tend to main support or jungle, so trust me I know verbal abuse, from everyone constantly pinging for assistance from the jungler Sejuani who is in another lane on the other side of the map and then gets raged at for not helping in the lane that was overextended at the other side of the map :/ (not jg'ing as pantheon Pantheon by the way [zombie-brand-facepalm] ) so I understand verbal abuse, however lately I have been noticing a trend of some more than terrible decisions by players and instantaneously blaming whoever is nearby. I have been really trying to get a better champion pool ( Shen Shyvana Sona Leona Blitzcrank Orianna Thresh TwistedFate Nidalee ), so I have been using more and different champs, practicing as much as possible. I have been alright with Sona Sona , I believe, however I get stuck with ridiculous adc's who do not know her abilities and immediately blames me right off the bat, because they summoner 4 for a kill on someone, in the middle of a huge minion wave at like level 3. I understand yes, you should have been healing then sona, which i was doing, i cannot spam that ability unfortunately, because trust me if I could, don't you think I would? At that point do you think anyone would ever die? In a really roundabout way I'm trying to get at here, is that yes in games like that I leave. Flat out, I am not going to continue to put up with that first off, and second off it will just continue to get worse, and heaven forbid if there is a duo or triple'd que I stumbled into in team builder and I get reported. Are these games actually looked at before a punishment is applied, I am a really friendly player who tries to stop my team from raging at each other most games, but in games where they just will not stop, I do leave. No, I shouldn't leave a game, but the game gets so much worse with the more verbal abuse that happens. Then report them at the end right? Tell me then that you have not played on a team with these kind of players, who also would not ff at 20, and continue to drag it out in a 33/6 game or something like that while still verbally abusing everyone. That is really exhausting, and kind annoying. Please tell me I won't get punished for happening to stumble upon some of the more festering parts of this community that I (nor anyone) should have to put up with?

Premades have no ability to abuse the reporting system. Reports don't simply stack against you, they flag the match to be checked by the system. Flagging it 9 times won't make the system check you any harder than 1 report flagging it. They can make the report notification pop because it is based on sheer report volume, but that isn't tied to punishments.

I'll never understand why some people refuse to use the mute function. If you are being abused in chat, cut them off! They clearly aren't using it for useful communication. Pings are more than good enough. Just mute and report them.
