Perma banned

I have been playing since season 1. I had a spotless record until two years ago. Was there a new system implemented? I Have spent over a thousand dollars on this account and it just got recently Perma banned. I submit a ticket and 13 seconds later blitzcrank bot responds with content that doesn't even relate to me because my account is perma banned. I might deseve some form of punishment, maybe, but I do not deserve to lose an account I have spent so much money on over the past decade. Is there anyway to contact and speak to a person? This automated system has royally screwed me.

I had a spotless record until two years ago.

Why break that ''spotless'' record then? Having a clean record for long and then breaking the rules doesn't mean anything. Everyone is treated equally by the punishment system, no matter if they've been clear of flame for years or started from the get-go.

I Have spent over a thousand dollars on this account and it just got recently Perma banned

Amount of money spent is irrelevant. It doesn't give you any immunity to punishments, nor will you be able to chargeback/get any of it back.

I might deseve some form of punishment, maybe, but I do not deserve to lose an account I have spent so much money on over the past decade

You do deserve that punishment most likely. 14-day ban is the last warning, and it even says in the reform card that your next offence will result in a permaban. Again, money spent is irrelevant.

Is there anyway to contact and speak to a person? This automated system has royally screwed me.

You can try to see if the live chat is up on the Riot Support ticket submitting form.

If the account is already banned, riot isn't gonna revert it unless the bot made an error. Since you were acting toxic (as you admitted) this isn't getting changed.

Sorry, but with the 14 day ban and warning, Riot does what they can to prevent perm banning accounts.

Even if the other person was also toxic, it's no excuse; other people breaking the rules doesn't mean you're allowed to. Next time, mute and move on.

The Instant Feedback System was introduced in Aug-2015, when Riot decided to close the Tribunal. The IFS punishes people based on consistency x severity, so if you haven't been punished in 2015 till recently, it means that you've had a spike in your toxicity.

Blitzcrank bot was recently introduced as an automated method to respond to players with behavior questions. You can request for a human by replying to that ticket asking to speak with a human.

If Blitz bot showed you chatlogs that were unrelated to your own behavior, then you might want to point that out in your reply in that ticket so a human can review whether or not your account has been subject to unauthorized entry.

Yeah, I can imagine "Don't worry you ########## , I been playing this game for 10 years and I will never get banned".

BAM

Now you crying. I like salt.

The system and rules for punishments for chat offenses has not changed meaningfully since the removal of Tribunal in season 5-6. And all that change was is that it is now automated instead of human review, but this system has been shown to be more accurate and consistent than human review.

The other big change in history is that prior to a certain time it was possible to be issued chat restrictions for up to thousands of games. Riot realized that this wasn’t improving behavior and was actually causing an increase in trolling and other behaviors so they implemented bans (first 14 day, then permanent) which helped.

TLDR: The rules haven’t changed, the punishments haven’t changed, you have.

Chat logs?

The only way to contact a person, would be to contact support again. When the bot answers, just reply and you'll likely get a human next time.

But I can already almost guarantee you that it wont help you, other than to understand why you were punished.

In any case, you should've semi-recently have had a 14 days ban. On the reform card it states that the next punishment would a permaban, so it's not really without warning.

I might deseve some form of punishment, maybe, but I do not deserve to lose an account I have spent so much money on over the past decade.

Sorry, but you don't deserve special treatment just because you've spent a lot of money. That's would be outrageously unfair towards those who can't afford to spend like you do.

Contacting a support person won't help, I've tried. The problem is higher up. Riots policy has gotten fucking ridiculous over the years. They have this extremely broad and unreasonable definition of toxicity where even the slightest bit of negativity is punishable, and they completely disregard the actions of your teammates. It perpetuates over sensitive interpretation of criticism and removes the responsibility of developing thicker skin away from the player. Also, it doesn't fix the problem. These people just create new accounts, and now they're disgruntled so their behavior is even worse than before.

I spent this money over the span of years. I am not wealthy by any means. I'm not asking for special treatment but my record was pretty much spotless until the last two years. I get antagonized and lose my cool and this is not justice.

TheRealistKirby2/14/2019, 6:57:09 PM1 votes

We really need more details on why you were banned, chat logs or the like, to know whether it really was the automated system that "screwed you", or if you just deserved a ban.

I admit my behavior was not honorable and I don't have the chat logs my account wont let me copy any text but my own. Please don't permantly ban this account I have had for so long and worked so hard to collect every champion and acquired a ton of skins just because I lost my cool. For the first 5 years there was never any problems. I didn't threaten anyones lives or tell them to die or even cuss that much. I just used caps lock and was equally rude back to the person I was talking to. maybe a little more so...
