i always ban riven and yas if team has not banned yas especialy when they are free

my friend bans yas i ban riven top and mid are displaying riven and yas as pic intent BUT they are the 2 last picks and riven and yas are free which makes it real hard for them to get them since riven and yas are the current fotm

the other team does ban yas in the draft

the riven and yas reported me and my friend for trolling when we were banning to prevent the other team from obtaining them

are we in danger of punishment?

If you were nice you would let Yasuo or Riven slide and as first pick you lock in that champ then swap with your pick intent teammate. Just communicate with them to pick a champion you own so you can make the swap.

And you cannot be banned for this but you will have one angry teammate.

It is not bannable to ban champions, no.

No you will not get punished for banning a champion that was one of your team mates pick intent especially if those champions are very high pick/ban rate champions and the team mates are last pick. As long as you didn't do anything wrong inside the game itself like flaming them or intent feed or anything like that then you should be fine. The reports that people send are based off of what happens in the games and not what happens in champion select/end game lobby.

Fotm? Riven's got like a 12.5% pick rate, Yas is less than 7%.

I don't think bans are specifically punishable, so you shouldn't get punished for what you did, but your teammates probably feel like you trolled them. Personally, I fundamentally disagree with the thought process of banning your own teammates' picks.

Those are your excuses for banning champs without acknowledging that you are trolling your teammates.

I've been 3rd, 4th or even last pick hovering Yasuo/Riven. 80% of the time (if my teammates don't ban it) I still get it.

BONUS: There's something call champion swapping, so if anybody else owns Yasuo/Riven you can suggest that someone else pick it ASAP and then switch.

But no, you'd rather delude yourself into thinking that you're doing a good, smart thing. It is never wise to start conflict with teammates who are there to win the game with you, unless you don't actually want to win.

Anything you do pre-game isn't bannable as there's no system to track it. You can throw racist slurs, and nothing will happen.

People ban Riven? Why?

EMeta6/12/2017, 6:19:55 PM1 votes

By itself, no. But it is kinda a dick move, and if you play the rest of the games making several mild to moderate dick moves, you'll probably see a warning sooner or later.

You can ban whoever you want. You will never be punished for banning a champion.
