How do I prove it to my friends that I deserve my rank?

Hello! I am a Diamond player and a month ago me and my friends played custom games Best of 5, where we all do our best. Out of the 10 players I am the highest ranked one. The thing is they always banned my top 3 champions. I ended up poppin off every single game and the one time I laned against the second highest ranked player from us (Platinum 5), he solokilled me in a favorable match-up Zed vs Annie after I made an obvious mistake, after that I killed him with jungler 3-4 times, he kept crying in /all chat and I could never 1v1 him because of the match-up. So because of that one 1v1 he made he thinks he won the lane and that he is a better player than me, not just him but my friends as well. If any high elo player would take a look at the situation they would understand that he is nowhere near me. So how do you explain to someone who doesn't fully understand the game and judges players like in this situation, where do I even begin to explain it to them about what makes a good player?

Just don't. They don't understand the game well enough to understand the decision making required at high elo play....only laning and maybe some objective control. Let them think they're better and try to climb but keep hitting their wall.

All i have to say is League isn't a 1v1 game anyway.

you really shouldn't care tbh but there's this app called lolsumo for android and ios that ranks your individual game based on number of wards placed, cs, kda, and kill participation etc. etc.

it matches all of your stats to that of the average of people at every elo

it then gives you an overall grade which then tells you, you played at a gold level this game, or plat level, it also lets you see what elo your average is for things like warding and cs if that makes sense

it's really cool and lets you know what to work on, my highest grade was a diamond ekko game in which i went 21/10/9

I have a couple friends who won't play with me because they don't think I deserve plat when they made gold at the last second. One of them is very toxic towards me... I don't get it.
