I'm pretty sure this topic has been brought up a lot, but it seems my reports aren't doing anything at all. I've already had several AFKs this season and I always lose those game without any compensation for the guaranteed loss. Like I'm getting extremely exhausted over stuff like this. At least with toxic people I can just mute them. With AFKs, I have to wait til the 20 minute mark to surrender, and that's if the other 3 want to leave.
I think there should be an afk check after the queue afk check but before the champion select afk check. Then one more after those three afk checks and the loading screen connection check but before the spawn animations. Check
I agree. It's ridiculous... I decided not to play ranked for a week. Come back to play 2 games and both games had someone AFK. The 2nd game had someone AFK after 8 min (our mid Lux) and then our Jungler decides it's not worth their time to continue and stays in base for the rest of the game. 3 vs 5 is really fair. You'd think you're tagged to a team that you would respect the community better and have higher standards, but nooo. No matter what we said they stayed in base.
