Should the system notify all players in a game that someone has been punished?

Before I say anything, I would like to say that I do not mean to insult Riot employees. I also know that my words hold little power, but I wanted to share my opinion about my experience.

I feel that many people complain about the transparency of Riot's stance on toxicity. But this is not true, as Riot has stated over their guidelines on what not to type in game. Ignoring the fact that most players skip this phase (including me lol), I think the community still feels confused. That is because Riot uses an automated system to punish its offenders. Why? The player base is too big for humans to check every report to see if a player is being toxic. With that said, the system makes errors and sometimes seems to miss trolls and inters. But that is also solved by Riot Support, as you can submit a ticket to report an inter who is cheating out of the system. But this step does take a long time.

Now, I think one part Riot can improve to teaching new players about toxicity is a system that notifies all players that someone has been punished. When I first started playing league in season 7, I was someone who did not read the guidelines and went from my own experience from playing Dota2. In Dota, nothing serious happened as long as you didn't leave a game, so I did not know that LoL was different. I should have realized it, but I didn't.

Why do I think this system helps new players? Well, we can develop a lot of misunderstandings about this game in the beginning. I developed my sense of what LoL was from how my teammates and opponents talked. Most of the times, I feel that new players learn toxicity from the fact that there are no news about the people who flame or int, so they misunderstand the system. Personally, I got suspended for 14 days last summer because I told a player to hang himself. Which was definitely toxic. Which was definitely an intolerable behavior. But I developed a sense of apathy because I thought I would not get punished.

Now, you may ask me why I don't report toxic behavior, which will give me messages if a player has been punished or not. I do, just not the ones aimed at me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in my case I often find myself just saying "Next" without thinking about the toxicity present in that game. Consequently, I never hear anything about the results of that game if the toxic person was reported. So I want to ask the community if this is a useful thing to have, even if it's just a psychological effect I think telling all 9 players about the consequences of toxicity is a useful reminder, especially to new players.

P.S. NA's view on toxicity is controversial, and I'm personally on the side that Riot gives enough warnings to warrant their punishments. I think, however, that the system can still improve.

they already notify too much. those punishment notifications have increased the number of trolls by quite a lot in my opinion. it is so much fun to get that message that trolls make it their entire goal in the game.

If the game they reported the player in shows up in the reform card, they will get a notification.

Understand that the system punishes based on consistency x severity. Even for extreme toxicity, sometimes it can take a couple of those games before they get punished.

T e reform card only shows 1-5 recent games as examples of u acceptable behavior. So if a game passes the "recent time frame, the reporter will never receive a punishment notification.

That said, the system can still use more clarity.
