why doesnt riot remove the gray screen and give dead players something to do?

the gray screen makes people feel negative due to color association to negative feelings mainly if you keep the color in game when you die maybe a slight gray effect but not all out gray. why not give dead players a mini game while dead to earn gold as a incentive to keep playing (comeback possibility) so they arent practically drowning themselves with a toaster waiting for EACH CS present due to their lane isnt safe anymore because a Zed and 100 - 0 because of ult lets you do that these days where damage is king not counterplay even if you play safe. there should be a thing that allows you to farm while dead. Edit: my god i realized this escalated into a gameplay forum. im sorry please answer this to the best of your ability.

the minigame is "buy items, watch what is happening, and strategize what you need to do when you res"

Should be using that time to track enemy CDs and not messing around.

Some higher Elo and pro players take the opportunity to look around the map and make call outs/plan their next move while dead, you could try doing that, seems like a good way to practice map awareness too.

Why not use this time to tell your teammates how it's their fault you are dead, or your ennemy how his champion is busted and should be nerfed ?

Death timers don't get long until late game. And you don't think monitoring the map and pinging dangers/objectives isn't, effectively, a minigame? Guess I've been playing wrong for the past 8 years.

they tried the color change in pre season 7 but no one liked it and would rather have the gray screen.

When youre dead, you buy shit. You watch your team, you watch the enemy team. You make decisions on what to do when you respawn based on that. A fucking mini game? Gray is depressing? Give incentive to keep playing?!?! You sound depressed, bud. Video games wont help that.

It wants you to feel bad for dieing. It wants you to understand that you don't want to die. It wants you to understand that whatever you're doing, you're dieing too much. To avoid this death, ward more, avoid over push, focus on last hitting, and don't be kill hungry.

How often do you die?!? I think the death timers should be longer. By the time I'm done spam pinging "missing" on my jungler and op.gging my team to see whose fault it is, I don't have any time to sell my wards and type ff three or four times.
