I Cried While Playing League

Well, actually it's not just her/him. I'm tired of the toxicity too and especially when I'm provoked it makes it even worse. I do my best every league game but when people are toxic for no reason it just makes me sad and if I cuss or anything else I know that it will give a reason for me to be reported & banned. If I'm on my period, well then it's hard to not be toxic back, you know? And I like to be sarcastic too and people mistake that for being toxic and they report me... Honestly have you never heard of sarcasm before. This one game, I was playing Azir and I had a Morgana on my team. She was in my last game as well. In the previous game I had saved her life as she had claimed. And in the current game she lies to everyone and says I didn't. In the game, she keeps sacrificing everyone and turret hugging while staying behind the lines as we all died.

I told her that maybe she should try to fight with us because it was basically a 4 v 5 right there. Her kills were ks's and I was just dead inside. And because I said all that, she told my team and the enemy team to report me. They all agreed with her and I just think she doesn't deserve to ever have a team or play league ever. I was reported by 9 people... After 1 single game... And having no one to help me made me cry. They all flamed me, insulted me. I can't even anymore. League is a game for teams, but what happens if you don't have one? I also think gender equality should be a "Thing" on league. Guys will generally be nice to females but they should be to males as well. I am a female though but what's it them if I play a male champ or not.

here's an idea, mute them.

otherwise if your just defending yourself go at it. I use to do it all the time, never been banned.

now I just dont care enough, I play for fun.

It's a mindset. You get into every game knowing that people will do their best to pin blame on you if you (or they, or a combination of both) underperform. If you take something seriously, it can become extremely stressful. A lot of people here don't want to be pro, but do take the game and their performance very seriously.

People who are stressed out needs avenues to vent it, but they are people too. Just calmly mute them and ignore their flame, it's all that you can do. Know that there is never a reason to flame others, but sometimes the stress gets to us.

It's just a part of the game and a part of life. Where there are people who take things seriously you have to realise that they will get stressed and vent it through flame and insults and whatever. Just trust yourself to do your best and ignore them.

P.S [/ignore all] in game works wonders.

Wow kimchi... you've hit puberty but you've still got a lot of growing up to do. Call people children and tell them to grow up? You call for gender equality but your period should be considered a valid reason to be toxic? I don't even know what your point is in this thread, but you've gotta realize Riot has rules and while they may be bullshit, you do have to follow them.

Riot is big on the whole ignore, report, move on thing. So instead of crying or getting toxic back, you should realize there are assholes out there who thrive off of pissing people off. Ignoring is actually a wise thing to do, for your own good. I feel like realizing that these people's motives are mainly to piss you off, really helps with the ignore part. Don't take anything personal. If they call for reports, that's a reason for you to actually report them. Their whole goal is to make you feel the way you felt. Don't let them win! Ignore them, mute, report after game and move on. Letting their bullshit bother you only hurts yourself. I know I sound insensitive because idk how having a period feels, so maybe just mute when you're on it.

Now don't take this the wrong way, I don't mean to insult you or offend you in any way shape or form. And this is coming from a girl's perspective.

Now I'll give you advice and hit some points. If your team is flaming you, mute them. Don't fight back. If you want to defend yourself, that's fine, but you have to know that you shouldn't offend anyone while doing so. In my opinion, staying quiet seems better than fighting back since you may or may not receive a chat restriction or a ban. Of course, you wouldn't want to be banned or restricted, would you? Just mute, report, and move on like Telephone Booth said. And as well as Autumn Rain, people are going to need to vent when they are angry. Some are immature enough to do it while in game. So if you see anyone flaming, either at you or someone else, just mute and report. And besides, there only needs to be one report to flag the game, not nine.

Now about you being sarcastic. We know you love to do it, and I understand that it may be fun for you. But in my opinion, sarcasm is still toxic. For example, your support goes out of lane to ward and he/she gets killed by the enemy jungler. Suddenly this pops up in chat. "Gee, Soraka, that was really nice of you to ward river without me." What do you classify that as? Excellent behavior? That is still toxic. Besides, what if you're the support? If the person was sarcastic towards you, would you like that? Of all my times supporting and having a really sarcastic ADC, it was torture being stuck in a game with them. Would I like it? No. No one likes it and you need to learn to not be sarcastic. If you continue to be sarcastic, then you are just lowering yourself to everyone who's toxic's level. You will be described as toxic if you mean to be sarcastic or not, so it's better to not even try to be sarcastic.

And about gender equality. If you use your period as an excuse to be toxic, that is not gender equality. And if you have trouble keeping your emotions in hand while on your period, and I don't mean to be insulting or offending, then don't play at all and try something else. If I had you in my game and you're being toxic, I'm just going to report you anyway. If you submit a support ticket about your report. What's Riot going to say? They wouldn't care since your behavior was out of hand. It would be the same for a guy as well. If he was toxic, he would be reported. He would be reported as well if males had periods and he couldn't keep his emotions in hand. It doesn't matter. On League, gender doesn't matter. If you were toxic, you will be reported and banned. If you were positive, you would receive the same honors and rewards as anyone else. If you don't do anything, then you don't get anything if you were either a boy or a girl! Mentioning "Guys will generally be nice to females but they should be to males as well. I am a female though but what's it them if I play a male champ or not" is just ridiculous. Men won't be nice to me. I would still be flamed if I did something wrong. If I just blatantly tell them that I'm a girl, they wouldn't be all, "Oh I'm sorry. I won't flame you." They would just keep flaming me regardless. And my boyfriend too. He gets flamed whenever he makes a bad play. If he says "Hey I'm a dude too! Don't flame me!" The other guy would just keep flaming him regardless if he was a boy or a girl. Like I said, gender equality doesn't matter in League, or any other video game. What does matter is behavior. Now is that too hard to understand?
