so last month i got banned for 30 days ( i was swearing ,but as always they started 1st,my fault was i kept on doing it too) but they didnt get ban cause they are premades and obviously this ban system is unfair and works on the number of reports.. recently i played 1 game,where opponent team was picking on me and my adc WHOLE GAME .. they were winning and they still kept on talking shit how we are losers blabla.. again i got reports for what? for defending myself? i have a feeling riot didnt even see the whole chat,but only where i wrote %%% after they wrote bad stuff about me for 100 times. i dont think i deserved a pernament ban, i used to have honor level 3 :) my only problem is my acc is worth something i saw people swearing my mother that didnt got ban.. but i got ban for saying %%% after he said 100 bad words towards me? cmon man

mob justice is not a thing. 2 reports have the same value as 1

someone else being toxic "first" does not grant you the freebie of being toxic back free of charge. if both of you are toxic, both of you get punished

1 report and 9 reports hold the exact same weight.
Riot also moderates person by person. They don't care why you were toxic.

Not true. I was in a game once where I was teamed up with a 4 man premade and as per usual they were ganging up on me for every small mistake that I made so I devised a plan to strip them of their season rewards by provoking them non-stop with words that wouldn't get me banned like "cry".

Two of the four started fuming and called me the N word (hard R) and told me to kill myself. They also threatened to 4 man report me and I challenged them with a ban-off to see who gets banned first then proceeded to provoke them even more.

Flash forward 15 minutes later, I get two notifications side-by-side stating they were both punished while I got away scot-free.

To the Hecarim and Jhin I had the displeasure of getting teamed up with, all I can say is LOL.

Moral of the story: Just keep your composure and don't just randomly throw out invectives. Be wary of your insults and make sure you don't say something that could merit a ban. At the same time, make sure to provoke them and hopefully they make the mistake of saying ban-worthy stuff and that's when you hit that report button. Good luck.

It doesn't. 1 report has the same weight as 9 reports since all reports actually do is starting the review of the game. Also you can't know if they were punished or not.

Well, it's called zero tolerance phrase for a reason.
