how riot should deal with crappy net

when someone dc's... there's an argument for leniency . that it might not be their fault. so completely autopunishing someone for a net glitch, might be "unfair".

on the other hand, its not fair to OTHER people, to keep allowing them to play when they have crap internet. i just played a game where the suport was online 5-10 minutes out of a 35min game. That isnt fair to the four players on our team.

So how about this:

If a player spends more than 2minutes of a game "dc'd", then they get put in a virtual quarantine box. They do not get to queue up for an hour. Once they are back, then the client has to verify that their net is stable and consistently under 150ms ping, before they are allowed to queue up again.

if they are REPEAT offenders (ie: multiple dc within some period of time), then the quarantine box becomes 1 day instead of 1 hour.

Edit: Uhg. just had to deal with this AGAIN. Stupid adc net was so bad, they dc'd at LEAST 5 times in a single game.

How about no. Life happens that you cannot predict and sometimes you have to afk unintentionally. Rito understands this so they do not make LeaveBuster strict on the first few occurrences. People do get punished if they do it frequently. Rito should NOT deal with afk how you described. Wish all you want. It's not going to happen.

What about if the internet provider decides to update their stuff? Mine does that, and I never know when it's going to happen, so sometimes I end up leaving games for 10-20 minutes before I can come back. Why should I get an hour wait before I can play again because my internet provider doesn't let people know when they're going to update stuff every 4-6 months?

Or what if someones ping skyrockets for literally no reason to the point they are force dc'd? I've had games where, suddenly after playing a few games already, my ping had skyrocketed to 2k+ and I was force dc'd. At that point I have to force-close both the game and the client and reopen them. If that happens, it can sometimes take me a few minutes to get back.

Why should I be punished for rare happenings just because other people can't keep their stuff updated and working?
