Turning a bad into a good?

So, I'm perma banned on this account in game. My ban came from me tilting on a pre-made team after they basically bullied me and I had enough of the them inting. Mute all only took me so far that game.

Now that I have the context for why I'm posting in Player Behavior lets get into this can of warms. Money; payed for items that get locked with your account never to see the light of day again. Rito likes to say "you don't buy the items you donate your money to Rito for RP." Again can of warms this is as I'm talking about money don't let me get into time as that's some thing none of us can get back at all in life. Really I'm not sure how to say this other than to ask how is it okay to lock us out of digital content we payed for via RP the premium funds that yes we spend irl money on? It's frustrating to love a game so much that you want to support it only to have it bite your hand in return for being "toxic" a few too many times. This is what I purpose we divert some assets into a program for "toxic LoL players" instead of perma bans and payed for content lock our accounts get low Q prioritized chat restrict the accounts and have some one a real person mind you review these games for tolling inting and general bad Player Behavior. Rito can even make it a volunteer program for honor level five players them selfies to help. This is only a spit ball idea as I would rather see some thing good be turned out of some thing bad. I also feel like if we could pull the player base into this and make it more involved for all it would help the player base. I left a little to the point poll for this to see if this idea could ever be some thing. I fell like it could help not only the player base but also help Rito. As this is a board I welcome all feed back good bad and ugly. ~CerberusInu

Every system they have had to reform players failed and they are currently trying a new one, as for the legality of the situation, if you go into a movie theater and you get kicked out for screaming obscenities, they don’t have to refund you, same logic here.

Because this is how literally every online service operates, and it's pretty much mandatory because otherwise no company would ever be able to shut down servers without issuing a complete refund.

Riot is extremely up front and transparent about this, and it's both standard policy for all gaming companies with virtual goods and completely legal.

Frankly, from a company standpoint and a community standpoint, I don't see much benefit to building and supporting a program that takes a small portion of the community who have proven that -- despite several warnings and opportunities -- they do not want to meaningfully improve their behavior and putting money and effort into giving them more chances. Riot already is running (or has already run) an experiment testing the possibilities of reform for toxic players, and it's possible some initiative may come out of that, but that's something they'll need to look at the data of and decide based on the metrics they see.

We as a community should absolutely be nicer and try to encourage people to keep their mentality in the right place.

No, you shouldn't get your stuff back.

What do you mean "reform perma ban accounts"? You can't reform an account, it's the player that has to reform. And if he/she does the next account they use will not be banned.

Their bottom line is profit, as is with any company. They arent gonna accomodate toxic players by hiring a team to babysit their games and watch every replay of every game that gets reported.

its a video game where the basic rule is **"dont be a dick" ** if someone can't get that simple concept, no one should waste the time trying to teach them

Terms of Use are a bitch.

You have 2 options. Change the law or change the company.

Company isn't changing. They make money.

Law is tricky. I think you have to go after the one sided contracts and private property. As long as we are "renting" items on their private servers, we won't have fair treatment.
