ok, so i have the new tos for penalties (chat restrictions) from a riot employee, these rules are the exact same rules when you enter a kindergarten class room, "now billy you cant call timmy stupid, thats mean, and timmy, you cant tell billy to shut up, thats rude. ~~but ill tell you all to kill yourselves and its fine as long as i dont get reported hehe xd~~" like, cmon, riot treat us as a player base, not as a baby siting program. in my opinion i think we should only restrict threats and or hate speech of any kind, i understand competitiveness, and thats why i get toxicity (to a certain extent) but once you hit that mark of racism sexism homophobia or threats, thats it. just, treat us like adults, or hell, treat us as the internet, you cant restrict the internet. and if you cant handle talk, then turn off chat, or hell dont play the game. thats my opinion atleast.

They treat us like players in a competitive game. As in; they expect us to adhere to rules and show sportsmanlike conduct, with penalties being issued if we break those rules. If you think that's "treating us like Kindergarteners", you're not gonna like how everything else outside of League is run, 'cause it's the exact same.

One can be competitive without being toxic. Toxicity is not an inherent part of competition. Competition involves the expectation of respect and good sportsmanship - toxicity is just a byproduct of that expectation.
