Unprecedented PERMANENT ban

Two years and two months ago I received a two-week ban for being toxic/flaming, and since then I have very rarely received any warnings of being reported, especially this last season+ I have not been notified because I have reformed my behavior. I played a blind pick today and was flamed by a teammate (yi) who started trolling after one other teammate (graves) afk'd. They don't even show the Yi's chat log who called me a wide variety of things like "gay, %%%%%%, retard" and etc.. Anyways my "reform card" when I try to log in, lists this as the ONLY occurrence, and says I have been permanently banned. This is so upsetting because I didn't think I was ANYWHERE near being permanently banned. Maybe I did two years ago, but I thought things would've changed, as riot claims you can jump over punishment tiers. I just think this is incredibly unfair, and I am not sure what to do.

The yi came to my lane and starting taking farm and just standing around and following me, so I was angry yes, and my response wasn't appropriate, but I don't think this warrants a PERMANENT BAN

the system considered that you used one of the taboo words when you quoted what yi said and so you were permabanned

the riot's ban policy is beyond bad

Hmm, well, I would suspect that the reason it skipped directly to a permanent suspension was the use of the homophobic slur %%% in the beginning. You do insult the Yi, and call for reports (which is considered harassment), but those two would typically only bump you up to the next level of punishment. While it can take a long time for the punishment tier to decay, I didn't think it took over two years to drop from the permaban stage back down to the temp ban stage. And it also seems fairly clear that the use of %%%%%% at the end is not directed at anyone in an insulting manner.

Overall, these logs really don't seem that bad. Are they toxic? Yes. Are they worthy of a punishment? Yes. Are they worthy of a permaban? I wouldn't think so personally. You only used %%% one time, and I wouldn't feel right about permabanning someone for using one homophobic slur (provided there aren't more of them in your other logs that Riot has access to). The only thing I can suggest is that you send in a ticket to player support and ask for some clarification as to why it was escalated to the permaban stage.

It's riot they're not gunna do anything but say "don't retaliate" like this is some 6 ur old play ground instead of the toxic cesspool it is

I'd say that was probably bannable, but it is odd that you got a perma if you haven't been banned lately. Your quoting Yi's slurs was probably what did it, I'd contact support and see if they can't take a look at it. Make sure you explain that you hadn't been banned in the last 3 months, so it shouldn't be a perma, and explain that you were quoting Yi when you used the slur.

There's nothing too bad (like wishing death on family bad) in there other than a homophobic slur, which Riot doesn't tolerate at all, but you were pretty mean the whole game. Calling someone "trash" is a reportable insult. Asking for reports isn't allowed. Calling a teammate a "troll," "kid," and "toxic" isn't really necessary and is only adding fuel to the fire. You could have just said that you were being flamed and said nothing else. Asking "please end" and "team wont ff" is just really bad sportsmanship. You're giving up the game before your teammates do, which is incredibly demoralizing, and even worse you're egging on the enemy team. You're almost assisting the enemy team verbally, like if a cheerleader started cheering for the other team after she lost hope in her own.

I think all this stuff coupled together makes the game definitely punish-worthy, possibly perma-ban worthy because of the homophobic slur.

You really got banned for this ? I am hiding then. W/E community manager banned you for this, he probably has Schizoid Personality Disorder (Alexithymia) if he can't evaluate the situation from a normal human's stand point.
