Just got permabanned - the best thing that could have happened to me

This game just breeds toxicity. I had a game where a 2-man trollmade decided to go duo jungler, leaving me 1v2 as the ADC. And of course I was against a Pyke support, meaning my lane was completely shut down. This meant that I was guaranteed to have an un-fun game. The next 15 minutes (at least) of my life were guaranteed to be a complete waste of time. And of course, I can't leave, because then I'll be punished by the system for leaving. So I was forced to continue to play an unwinnable un-fun scenario, which is inherently toxic in itself.

Then, at 15 minutes, I tried to surrender, and the 2-man trollmade both voted no, guaranteeing that I would continue to have to waste time playing this un-fun game. My time is very precious, and I refuse to waste time playing a game which is guaranteed to be a frustrating un-fun experience. Simultaneously, they started being toxic and blaming me for feeding and blaming me for being the reason we were losing the game.

At this point, I completely lost it and let out such a long string of expletives in the chat that there is no surprise that I've been banned. I surely added to the toxicity in this situation, but the situation was engineered to be completely toxic in the first place, by riot's poor design. Furthermore, it is ironic that engineering toxic situations (as our two-man trollmade did by creating a 1v2 bot lane) is not a bannable offense, even though it is guaranteed to create toxicity.

This game BREEDS toxicity, and Riot tries to fight it by banning the toxic players. It's like someone beating their kids, and then acting surprised when they grow up to be violent.

Despite the fact that 9 out of 10 games are not fun, the game is still addictive, which is why I kept coming back. So, being permabanned is honestly the best thing that's ever happened to me in this game. Now, I can finally uninstall it, and be free from this horrible spiraling whirlwind of toxicity.

Ways in which the game breeds toxicity: 1)The game is designed and balanced around a strict metagame, however deviating from the metagame is considered acceptable, even though it's only done by trolls. 2) Players are forced to continue playing un-fun, un-winnable, toxic games, which is why they end up expressing their frustration in the chat, instead of just walking away like they should be able to do. 3) This game came out in 2009, and riot STILL has not come up with a solution to the dumb "calling positions" method of getting the position you want. Everyone knows this system is stupid, broken and unfair, and breeds toxicity in itself. Often times this causes players to become toxic before the game even starts, which is a recipe for disaster.

People do get banned for not going to their assigned lane if reported enough times. If you play Blind Pick (which seems like you did), then there is no "assign lane" or "assigned role". People are allowed to play double/triple top, double jungle, abandon a whole lane completely to go 4 mid. That has always been the rules for Blind Pick. That's not Rito's fault. Rito already created the Draft mode where there are assigned lane and assigned roles and going outside of that will get you punished. It seems like this one is on you, not Rito, for playing Blind Pick and expects meta.

  1. Players are forced to continue playing un-fun, un-winnable, toxic games, which is why they end up expressing their frustration in the chat, instead of just walking away like they should be able to do.

That's because other than the 2 trolls you described, there are also 2 other teammates who will be punished with a 4v5 by you leaving game. You don't get to fight toxic with your own toxicity (going afk is very toxic). And to be completely honest, those 2 double junglers are not trolls by official definition. They purposely played BLIND PICK in other to play such off-meta strategy. They are allowed to because there are no assigned lane/role in Blind Pick. There are no enforced meta in Blind. When you go into Blind Pick, be prepared for such things to happen without people purposely trolling. Go play Draft if you want meta.

Of course everyone knows to steer clear of BLIND PICK. Rito already did came up with a solution to Blind Pick. It's called Draft. Again, this one is on you, not Rito, for going Blind Pick. TeamBuilder and the current version of Draft (a.k.a. "the solution") had been out for years (3 or 4?) now.

Point 1 was actually a good point. As for 2, you want people to be ableto just leave games unpunished whenever they want? I dont understand that one. And point 3, you mean blind pick? I never play blind pick, almost forgotthat was a thing. Why not just play draft normals if you dont like role calling? I mean, sorry but thats just a ridiculously easy solution. How did you not think of that?

Anyways, I recommend starcraft 2 co-op, pretty fun shit.

I remember when support was suppose to leave the bot lane and help the jungler. You must learn to adapt to all situations.

There should be no punishment for leaving games besides the long dodge timer and the game counting as a loss i agree, what the point causing yourself mental harm in a sespool of terrible teammates in a game you honestly dont care about winning you are that far gone into the pits of depression and anger... just leave, dont stay and afk, dont start flaming chat, dont troll your teammates... just leave

I think the big reason people dont and do flame their team is because they think no matter what the do they are gonna be punnished... go back to lane and die again because your tilted; inting, voice your anger/frustration in chat; greinfing farm your junglers camps and put them behind; trolling and greifing, afk in base while you wait to ff; afk.
