Can you be banned for never chatting again?

I've been chat banned 3 times and don't want to lose my account. While I understand to some I may be considered "toxic" I consider my language passive aggressive (muteable). I never flat out call people retarded, I more or less say stuff like. "ty for the ganks, the enemy has had 3 so far" and "sick exhaust m8" and ping that its still up. Now I've been chat restricted enough to know that people are going to report you if you even "seem" toxic, reguardless of weather or not its banter. I NEVER namecall, but I still get reports from salty teammates, and at this point I don't want to lose my account that I've spent over 500 dollars on. Can I be reported/banned if I never chat with people ever again? My grandma always said if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything... so is that bannable? It also makes me question the utility of the mute button if it is bannable not to talk to teammates....

Nope. There is no punishment for not communicating.

I mean this is false, but ok.

No, if you don't communicate, you won't be banned, people won't care enough to report you.

Never chatting is actually the best way to avoid being banned. That means the only way you can possibly get banned is inting, trolling, using 3rd party software, or having someone hack your account. Assuming you're not trying to do any of these things, they're all pretty damn unlikely so I can't see you getting banned if you carry on with this.

A good way to not tempt yourself is to unbind the chat button from enter to nothing, or if that's not possible to some really obscure key.

I have had 3 chat restrictions since October. I have moved my chat literally off screen so i dont evem see what ppl say now. It works wonders.

No it is not punishable. Please do it. No one wants to listen to a snarky passive aggressive stranger throughout their game.
