Do Reports do anything at all if the person doesn't swear?

Just had a game where our jungler rage quit after a single play. Spent the next 15 minutes sitting in fountain saying "i'm scrolling through twitter instead right now. my team sucks. i didn't queue up to play with apes." Moving around so he doesn't get leaverbustered. He was level 4 at the end of the game. He's actively griefing and saying he's griefing in chat all game long.

Is this behavior punished? Can I play this way without repercussions too? Because he's level 244 and he still has an account, so it makes me wonder.

Yes of course, as just so you know, swearing isnt even against the rules. You can report me even if I do swear, but I wont get punished because I didnt break any rules. That guy should definitely be banned though. I could see him getting away with it just because your team got stomped so badly. I mean he was only 3 levels behind the vayne at the end. Hopefully Riot catches it, but it looks like the game was already lost when he decided to stop trying. Imo, should still get banned.

Swearing has absolutely no impact on how the IFS scores chat.

It all depends on what message you're conveying.

Their chat will contribute to a punishment, if you reported them.

Their gameplay will earn a 14 day ban if properly detected, assuming again that you reported them.

well i mean he called his team apes. that is flame and in the long run will get him

if youre "afk" ingame you get a warning popup, if you ignore it you get auto-disconnected from the game. if that didnt happen then the leaverbuster wont have any effect on him.

thats about it.

In more serious cases like that, I like to add a support ticket report on them too. They can not go into details about if they will be punished etc, but it is a good idea to find the game, open it up in full detail browser, and copy the link to the game and put it in the description too. Also helps because then you can copy and paste the name of them in the report too incase there is special characters..... but also do report in game as well.

It is not acceptable, and yes I have gotten feedback reports from people doing similar.

Also just adding (no source but pretty sure on that), just moving around in base doesnt stop leaverbuster afaik. It also looks after dealing/taking damage taking creeps etc

Submit a support ticket and wait for their response. This is something that a person has to manually look at and not a bot. Good luck OP, and no don't do what the afker did it is bannable. You can swear too but not at your teammates or the enemy team.

You can do whatever you want, riot doesn't care. They care more about the money they make from the player.

No. Riot never, under any circumstance bans for what is straight up trolling. If you think it happens, boy, you're in for a surprise. If someone's inting, there's no way to get at them.

And you reported him for griefing with a comment describing in succinct detail what the player did?

You just had the game - for one your report likely wasn't reviewed yet (really, you want instant? lol), for two, you have no way to know they have played this way before.
