Reporting/banning system
Hey. I decided to write this post to address the current reporting and banning system that in my honest opinion is the biggest BULLSHIT ever! (and by that I mean that is very unfair to the point that it makes me consider just leaving the game)
I got called in game: retarded, jew and a bunch of other names. I reported those guys and some of my teammates and players from the other team joined me but they still didn't get banned. I got matched just the other day 4 times in a row with the same guy that went afk in each game and called everyone all kind of names and only wrote in all caps and he didn't get banned. I got banned on my main account for lashing out at a guy just like that who made his life purpose to cyberbully other people. I think this is so unfair I can't even begin to describe my anger towards the situation. The reporting/banning system is so inconsistent and that makes it UNFAIR. So either remove the report/banning system all together or make it better but don't serve me that bullshit that I am in the top 0.0025% of the LoL population that is toxic enough to get permanently banned on my account when I see people bullying others in game in +75% of my games and I report them and nothing happens to them. Just for the record my main account, the account that I was permanently banned on was a maxed out honor account for sportsmanship and tilt proof.
I don't see how it's ok for people to call others retarded and make obviously malicious comments on others or act in ways that are meant to trigger other players and if we decide to retaliate by either not playing the match anymore(cause who would wanna play the game with such teammates) or if we lash back at them we are the ones getting banned. And Riot's response is basically that they don't give a flying shit of the context in wich we said something cause allegedly we should still have to be accountable for what we say or do in game no matter what. Then how come those people we lash out on get out scot free without any repercussions what so ever?
And I don't even wanna hear "well there is a mute all option for a reason" because I DON'T WANNA TRY MY HARDEST TO CARRY A GAME WHERE MY TEAMMATES ARE A BUNCH OF CYBERBULLIES! And NO I don't care that they might have had a bad day or that they are on a losing streak. No one cared of the reason I said the things I got banned for so why should I care about others reasons? And tell me why is it ok to condone such behaviour in others? When I said the things I said I was fully aware that I might get banned and in fact while still in game I was pretty sure that I will get banned for it. It was a risk that I assumed. But if it wasn't ok for me to lash out at people that deserved it I really don't wanna see or hear anyone defending cyberbullies in game just because they wanna win a game and the best way they know how is to kiss them in the ass and make them feel good about bulling others.
I wanted to go out of my way to make sure that the persons that I am talking about get banned so I looked for a way to report them outside the game but I couldn't find one.
I would at least like if I was able to block people from champ select and while in match and for it to make it so I don't ever in my life get matched with those people ever again but I can't even do that(maybe that would make the toxic players just leave by themselves or change cause eventually if they keep being toxic they won't have anyone to play with soon enough). It is very likely that if nothing changes soon about the report/banning system then I will leave LoL for good and some of my friends will do that as well. And the fact that Riot is making so much time for releasing new skins and so much time for all kind of changes to the game but they are not addressing the biggest issue of the game - TOXIC PLAYERS - is fucked up in my opinion.
