Question about appealing chat bans

Hey guys, how can I appeal a chat ban from a game where I had some players in a group gang up on me and report me for no reason?

You can write in a support ticket.

Although, it only takes 1 report to trigger a review of your chat. Multiple players reporting you does not increase the likelihood of you being punished.

Also, if you are comfortable with doing so, you can post your chatlogs that got you banned. This will give you feedback on whether you were banned for "no reason" and how likely it is that your appeal will be accepted by riot, based on past precedents.

Riot's automated and manual review systems are designed to prevent players from being banned from reports alone, including multiple players "ganging up" and reporting someone.
