I feel targeted if I dont play the top 6 champions for each role by my team.

So I like to play Jhin mid. I love the character and I honestly perfer him as a mid laner because I feel like the new adc meta doesnt favor him because of their DPS being better and the no skill, I mean enchanters who do well with those said adc's but not jhin. I find him a lot stronger in the mid lane due to his damage coming out like a caster.

BUT every time I play jhin mid and if Im not the first one to kill them then I am instantly flamed and my team will start to not work with me at all. Not only that, but I am constantly asked why I picked Jhin instead of a "balanced and skillful champ" like orianna? My team will then refuse to help me and only respond to your jhin.... LIKE WTF?!?!?!

Jhin "Can I get a gank? Im got ganked by a lee sin, Quinn, and thresh mid and they gave my laner a kill." (At this moment Im asking for help because I know its not the end of the world and I can still carry and I have the tools to capitalize if my team helps me.) JarvanIV "Im not gonna help a jhin mid" 5 mins. pass and I still am pinging for assistance because im now behind cause lee sin keeps popping his face mid. I then get tower dived by the whole team again and I die and we lose tower. Vayne "Report Jhin please" Soraka "why play jhin mid?" Jhin "because I do great on him in the mid lane?" (I mean what does she want me to say? Oh I was given some fucking prophecy of Phreak telling me some god damn legend of jhin mid and how it will get pokimane to friend-zone me??? If you ever ask this question like soraka, then you must have a low IQ) Again i ask the team for help but its honestly feeling like a 1v5 and we end up losing the game because my team would watch me die, not help me and work as a team, and would afk and let the game end cause they are tilted 8 year olds who thinks the world will go their way.

I honestly wish this was more reportable and you will face heavy punishments for it because it ruins games for me and other players who just play something different. Fucking remember when brand was a mid laner but at the very start people tried him support and now he has a bigger play rate for support than mid? Remember how twitch jungle was considered troll but now its good, same with ezreal jungle in korea.

Its not like I play AP jhin or tank Jhin, I play normal AD Jhin mid. I shouldnt be excluded from my team because of my pick. It seems they like me when im 4/0 before 12 mins but if im 0/2 before 7 mins then im kicked off the team.

If your team is there and can work around to help you succeed then you'll have a relatively good game, But you also can't get mad at them if they're mad at you for not playing meta.

You tilts the entire team by trying to play an adc as mid. There are reasons specific champs are suited for specific roles.

Consider this: Jihn is an ad champion with no mobility. If you play John mid then someone else on your team has to play an ap champ. By picking an immobile ad mid lamer you potentially put your team at a disadvantage. My advice is to pick champs around your team. If you have a cho jg or a teemo top you won't be hurting your team by picking jihn. If your team is all ad though (most supports don't count as ap) then pick an so mid laner. Just my two cents

but refusing to help you mid is not a punishable offence, its just terrible teamwork. ad generally speaking, people wont help someone they feel is a troll

In my experience ppl will help a lane if they think getting that lanner fed will help carry a game. Since jhin is not a typical mid and offers no reliable aoe damage / cc like control mages or 1 shot potential like assassins, many ppl including my self feels that helping another lane or getting another objective is a better use of my time to win the game.

TLDR: ppl dont think you have carry potential as a jhin mid

i play soraka and blitz mid and never run into problems and im bronze elo low too
