Great game. Aweful community.
Wow, I'm in awe at how toxic the players are. For years, I've been hearing about the infamous League of Legends toxicity. but damn, its beyond anything Ive experienced in ANY other community I've been a part of. Over a month ago, I've decided to give it try after watching the worlds trailer on YT, it grabbed my attention and I thought it would be a fun experience. With how many champions there are in the game, there is SO much to learn, just knowing what every ability does takes months. (if you play by the free rotation). It caught my attention on the first day, and I haven't missed a day where I was playing lol without getting flamed. It boggles my mind, why people take the game so seriously in casual games. Listen, I kinda understand if people rage in RANKED, elo is at stake, obviously. But if I'm getting flamed in casual draft games, where I'm trying to learn how to play a new champ, it's bizarre, like where else am I supposed to learn without getting picked up on? Or is getting trash talked part of getting into the game? I'm sure a lot don't mind, it's their environment, but I don't want to be a part of it. Game is fun, the players however, need therapy.
