Getting harassed and flamed for accusations of buying my account

So I'm a victim of some unusual circumstances - I used to play league extremely casually. I played some ranked, but after getting placed deep in Bronze, i decided it wasn't for me. I took a break for about a year, and came back only to find that my account had been hacked. I'll never know if it was going to eventually be sold, or was being used as a smurf for a high-elo Tryndamere player.

Eventually my account was recovered with help from riot support and i've been getting back into the game. I decided to give ranked a try again but despite my decent performance as a Lux support, I continue to face accusations of having bought my account. I'll get flamed in lobbies before games as teammates look through years of my match history. And the new ranking system doesn't help, having automatically put me in plat for ranked solo/duos. I seem to have found my niche and i'm not playing like a bronze 4 top laner anymore, but my teammates still hate me for my unusual account history.

How do I explain my circumstances to teammates without just saying "i'm good, trust me"? Is there any way out of this besides quitting ranked / League altogether?
