Alright I'm not entirely sure where to put this thread so if it's in the wrong section then I do apologize. I'd like to start off this discussion by first stating the obvious fact(s).

Account is not level 30 yet so ranked is not an option This is not a hate thread, just more of seeking clarification

Might not be all players- might not be most but I know some players are in the same boat as me and by that I mean by playing in a competitive nature. I do understand that people keep saying ''just play for fun'' but if a person wants to achieve a higher level of skill by 'trying' then why do people put that individual down. ''It's just norms'' - is the statement I constantly hear in all these normal matches. I understand it's not based on a rank structure- nor is it beneficial to said rank but normals is the only match that people under level 30 can play. Just because ''it's just norms bro'' - does that mean the person shouldn't be trying at all and should not have a competitive edge to his game-play and the match? I'm just seeking some clarification here. I take this game serious every match I play; and by serious, I mean in a pretty competitive edge style; doesn't matter if it's ranked or normals because I'm trying to achieve a higher skill level in the game mechanics and champion play-style. So just because it's a normals match; does that mean it's okay to just 50% or half-ass everything that the person is doing and not actually 'trying' as opposed to the others in the match?

Is this a correct perspective or is it considered ignorant/unnecessary?

I am really starting to hate people that pull that shit. League in its NATURE is -competitive-. The point of the game is to destroy the nexus, NOT sit around for 40 minutes farming minions till one side gets bored enough to surrender. There is no longer any adrenaline pounding drama when people have No interest in actually attacking the tower. They want to sit and farm minions for all the gold, avoid towers like the plague. But the moment you try to say "hey, we arent gonna win unless we attack towers!" You get responded with either "chill dude, its norms" (before the return to casually farming minions, ignoring everything else like its farmville) or "stfu tryhard, If you want to win go to ranked"

I actively report people for throwing if they refuse to go after towers. This community has become so worthless they dont even want to win anymore.

Thats like going to a football match and watching the players sit in a circle in the middle of the field and toss the ball back and forth. No one tries to score any goals because "its not the grey cup"

If you (general term, not OP) are not playing to win, I am happy to say GET THE FUCK OFF THE GAME. wasting everyones time so you can play like this is facebook is actively throwing and will be reported as such. This community makes me physically ill. Lazy, pathetic, conceited, and entirely full of themselves. I understand its norms. But if you ignore the actual POINT of the game (destroy the nexus) so you can fight over who has more cs, Uninstall and never come back. Go back to "Words with friends"

i half agree with the statment of its just normals

i agree that someone should not be flamed for not try harding by that i mean if i go first time ahri mid then dont flame me if i lost lane or did badly, i am first timing a champion. same goes for losing to better player or trying a weird build (such as ap ez or something).

of course i disagree about the part of not trying to win and saying that line, such as grifing your teammates by any means or simple not ending in propose because (my kda/cs score) or one case i remember, refusing to attack enemy champions ( had a talon top who agreed to not kill the enemy top - that was fine to a decree - but he also refuse to attack any other enemy champion when the enemy top laner was attacking us making the game 4v5 the whole time)

You know the rest of the team doesn't stop you from getting better mechanics right? You can improve the same amount if not more in an environment where your team is throwing.

Also, just wait 10 more days and you can go to ranked, why are you so impatient? Are you getting bored of the game after only 21 levels? O.o
