Inting or Bad Game?
Just here for a friendly reminder that having a bad game is not the same as intentionally feeding. Half the time, people don't even use the term correctly; they say people who are trying their best and not doing so well "inting".
I have been in both the position of getting called an int'er and seen someone calling someone else the same. Neither position is fun.
Having someone call you an int'er when you're just having a bad game and need a little help in your lane can be very frustrating and demoralizing. It also makes you want to not try since your teammate already thinks you're an int'er.
So don't call someone it when they're still trying to win. It's just frustrating for everyone involved.
And since people apparently don't know the difference, here's a couple of ways you can tell them apart:
Is the person consistently running into danger by themselves for seemingly no reason? Probably inting.
Do the person's items consist of 6 tears or 6 boots (or more than 2)? Probably inting. (Yes, even if they're playing Ryze)
Does the person keeping running under turret or way past their minions and get killed by the enemy every time, especially in a lane that is not theirs? Probably inting.
Does a person forget to ward, or not ward enough, and as a result gets ganked several times in a row? Most likely just having a bad game.
Does a person try to farm under turret but get camped anyway? Probably just having a bad game.
Does a person get into a couple of bad fights with the enemy laner and die as a result? Probably just having a bad game.
Is a person playing a hypercarry against a lane bully and dying a couple times? Probably just having a bad game.
Does the person make one or two bad objective calls or teamfight engages? Probably just having a bad game.
Some of these may seem like common sense, but I've seen people who don't get the distinction. It may be sometimes hard to tell, but just don't say anything. Even if you're frustrated, or even if they really are inting, you have better odds of winning if you just don't say anything rather than complain.
So just play the game, and report after.
