Tired of this community, when will something be done?

I've been playing LoL since right after beta. I have had 2 accounts now, the 2nd which I play on, the 1st which has been removed due to inactivity. Anyway, so in the past 6 months that I've been playing, normal games have been the absolute worst. I seem to always get these people that just want to insult you, put you down, frustrate you, and blame the game loss on you. Most of the time, I'm either ahead in kills, or 2nd. I receive comments like "ur trash" or "way to feed". When nothing of the sort has happened. It angers me so much because when I start getting angry at then and *****ing them out, they report me and screenshot stuff and make me out to be the bad guy. It's hell. I quit a game just now because I can't even be bothered. It's forcing me to give up on this game because of the horrible treatment I receive, and I see other people receive.

People like to sucker you in and provoke you just to get you banned. It's disgusting. If my account gets banned at this point, I'll just move on because it's horrible communities like this that turn me off of multiplayer gaming. It's not funny any more. It's been 16 years I've been gaming. Since duke, doom and quake deathmatches. C&C, Starcraft matches, Diablo 1 and 2 runs. It wasn't until counterstrike and call of duty 2 that I really started seeing this kind of behaviour. Nowadays it's perfectly normal for this level of trash talking. You see things like provoking someone to ban them, swatting, hacking, etc. I'm just sick of it and I think Riot should be one of the first developers to really find a new way to address some of these issues.

League is a great game for all types of people and it pains me to not be a part of it if I can't be. Honestly though, I'm on the verge. I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way about this game and others. Like, I stopped playing call of duty all together because of the disgusting behaviour in those games. I don't want to see that happen in league. People who truly appreciate this game will agree.

While riot's trying to lend a hand, ultimately it is up to the community to behave rather than "we're going to punch everyone we see until authorities cut our hands off so we can no longer do so."

This thread is actually me for 4 years now, sadly the ones that suffer are bronze players people really hate them.

I have live this thing and in total keep losing, and people delete me for it.

ban provoking will never be eliminated until riot stops giving trolls an incentive to do it. and its gotten even worse with the hextech crafting

if riot gets rid of banning people for chat, nobody would bait you into getting banned. its a video game, chat and things people say shouldn't be banable, the mute function should be enough. if you don't like what people are saying, mute them. banning people for chat is stupid and is the problem
