Experiment for PBE

Gather all the statistics you think could be useful. Limit the statistics to one days worth of data.

After that, remove all punishment systems for an entire month. (Except illegal third party detection. This is a social experiment, not a free pass to cheat.)

On the last day of the month, regather all the statistics for that day only.

Then, publish and compare.

I don't see what this experiment is intended to prove. It's not like Live is going to suddenly go without behavior systems, especially given the success of the IFS, so removing behavior systems in a venue that is not Live won't demonstrate anything of meaning. It would also presumably dramatically increase the damage toxicity in PBE does to data gathering on what the realm is actually used for: balance and bugs.

Also, because if the way PBE is self-selected it's almost completely non-representative of Live, which means all the "data" gathered would be valueless in that regard, as well.

No.

First off, in regards to Timethief49's comment string - yes, the boards are a place to offer suggestions to Riot, but they're also a place for the community to discuss things - including your suggestions. If you make a post on the boards, you cannot exclude other players from discussing your suggestions/ideas simply because they're not Rioters.

You also should show respect to those other players, because strictly dismissing them or being a general jerk ("why even bother with you") is against the Boards Universal Rules, and it makes people less inclined to consider your proposal.

Speaking of, back on topic; your suggested experiment is very, very weirdly worded (are both sets of data one day's worth, or is it one day and the rest of the month, or what?), and, ignoring the lack of clarity, it doesn't sound like it would be remotely worthwhile to test, because of the whole month of general lawlessness.

If I'm reading this right, you're saying the test should be, take data from a specific day, then turn off the punishment systems for a month and have the PBE go full The Purge on itself, then collect data on the last day of the month exclusively.

Why is a full month of no punishment systems necessary? Why not just have a specific date where the punishment systems are turned off?

If you're going to propose an experiment, you should be extremely thorough about the parameters - not just the "what", but the "why". As it stands right now, you're not stating the "why", and you're only generally stating the "what". And an experiment with no reason or intent is not an experiment worth bothering with, IMO.
