Chat perma bans instead of account perma bans

This game is so frustrating. The people who are trolling and griefing do not ever get punished as long as they do not say anything toxic. This game is awful and the community is slowly turning into a toxic trolling realm of idiots. I WILL NOT sit around and let someone knowingly ruin my game, but when i call them out for it im the one who gets suspended/banned. This game is shit and the community is also shit. Stop supporting riot until they show that they actually care about their player base and not just making profits.

Riot already tried perma-chat. Players found other ways to take out their frustration when they can't chat. Also, you're part of that awful community with those insults. You're everything you hate about this game. You're ruining your own games, not other players. You are the reason your games are toxic and negative.

With that said, I will continue to support Riot 100% with the permabans. Riot bans players because they don't want your business or your presence in the community.

  1. by flaming someone whose inting, they are an inter, and you are now toxic
  2. they do get punished, it just takes longer to punish someone for something that has to be manually reviewed, compared to something that can simply be scanned.
  3. they tried permanent chat restrictions. when people couldn't rage, they just ran it down

1: What does "calling them out on it" accomplish in a perfect case scenario?

2: Just this week there was a public case of an Anivia wall-trolling their teammates and a jungle stealing Nunu support (they deleted the post when the clips showing their deeds were posted, or I can't find it). The trolling detection algorithms are constantly being updated. Most of the time when people get punished for trolling, they don't post about it because they know they're guilty.

No, trolls and griefers do get punished. It's just extremely hard to verify that it was trolling/griefing etc. - you have to be able to prove intent, and that's not easy when you're just looking at the game from a detached viewpoint.

This game is awful and the community is slowly turning into a toxic trolling realm of idiots.

The game isn't awful, and the community has been slowly but surely improving over the years. It was way, way worse years ago.

I WILL NOT sit around and let someone knowingly ruin my game, but when i call them out for it im the one who gets suspended/banned.

Question: What do you achieve by "calling out" a troll? Do you think they'll suddenly realize that they're trolling, and stop doing that? Do you think that by flaming them, you're elucidating them of how wrong it is to ruin a game for four-plus other players?

They're trolls. They want you to get mad and flame them. Don't give them what they want.

It's friggin' Internet 101: Don't feed the trolls.

This game is shit and the community is also shit.

One of those statements is false. The other is arguable at best. If the game was so shit, you wouldn't have played it in the first place.

Stop supporting riot...

Make me.
