So my posts get removed for elo shaming but clearly riot can do it

Heya Remixt, I've dug into your case, and it has become painfully clear that you had your account boosted twice this season: Once in early March to Diamond V, though you eventually lost it. And again in late July, back up to that alluring D5 (as Lana correctly observed above). Interestingly enough, you also boosted last year (in mid-October), but because we didn't actually catch it, you go ahead and shine on you crazy diamond (or more accurately, platinum).

I mean your obviously trying to shame his plat elo by saying it this way why are mods / riot employees allowed to get away with this but I can't this is also the same as being passive aggressive in a game can't even follow your own rules . Post was by mirageofpenguins here https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/eOrxEbu8-banned-for-boosting-i-have-recorded-every-game-this-season-riot-still-insists-im-boosted

Find a better use of your time than cherry-picking things to complain about like this. We like rioters like Mirageofpenguins coming through, but threads like this chase them away. You know damn well the difference between toxic rank-shaming and an official employee stating that a player was literally boosted.

We actually don't let mods get away with this sort of thing. There is, admittedly, a bit of an exception for Rioters on Player Behavior in specific (and only in threads where an OP is making a misleading claim that a Rioter is then directly providing information on), and that's something that I'll acknowledge -- it doesn't come up super often, and I don't think we've sat down to determine a policy on it.

In this case I'd frankly say that this isn't really rank-shaming so much as making a joke about the OP's use of boosting to achieve a higher rank than he actually is, and referencing that as a pun on shining like a diamond than a denigrating comment on the OP's rank, however, but I understand it's a bit iffy. I'll put it on our agenda to discuss at our enxt meeting.

The nit picking is pathetic.

Riot not only does this but they throw out bogus allegations of boosting as well. Sending a support ticket is an absolute joke. They accused me of MMR boosting because I got Gold V, when I was gold V last year too and I had been mid to high silver for the past 3 years before that. Don't bother putting your money into this game. It's a sham.

It's funny how we make something close to mirageofpenguins and we get either deleted or reported.

Holding everyone to the standards but Rioter can do it? Sounds hypocritical to me.
