Is there any punishment for players who go out of their way to troll you in game, without chatting?

I was recently tilted off the face of the earth by a jungler who repeatedly came mid to steal cs from me. After I said not to do that he proceeded to come back over and over and fight me over cs while his camps were still up, not helping with the opposing laner, just taking cs from me. To me this feels like griefing, and I don't understand how a player could ever be punished for this with the system.

Needless to say I was chat restricted for my tilted reaction. Which fine... I guess I brought that on myself. But I feel it is very unfair that the player who trolled me on purpose doesn't get any punishment for his poor behavior. Is there anythign that can be done?

Unfortunately all you can do is mute, report and try to file a support ticket with his name. Automated systems are NEVER good for innocent or scapegoated or victimized players. You always need a human who actually does his goddamn job instead of being a typical 'suit'. Unfortunately in this day and age, common human decency simply goes out the window because people only care about the bottom line, profits and face saving. The BS over Loot Crates in Battlefront 2 is just a small sample of that.

I've played games since Quake Test for MS DOS. Gotten hackers who accused me of hacking banned for thinking i was radar hacking in a fighter plane (LAWL). Seen all the ego whores in the world. But League, while a decent game (not as broken as some of Capcom's unbalanced fiestas) is by far the worst experience I had with people ever in my life. And I've been around longer than most).

Well he probably wanted only 1 or 2 minions to level up in the first place, but instead you started ping spaming him and went toxic in chat so he decided to make you pay for your toxicity towards teamplay.

If you are an Ahole who does not want to share anything with the Team, dont expect them to be all so friendly towards you.

Next time, record a video with a phone or screen recorder. My computer records when I press Windows, G. Then send a ticket with proof or just send a ticket so the Rioter could review the game. Sending a video would save the Rioter some time and make the process easier.

Yes. However it'll take a lot of reports from many different players to get through.

Only if they are literally forced to such as someone trolling like this on a popular live stream.

Well he didn't break any rules so... no.

CS doesn't belong to anyone, therefore "taking it" isn't a thing. As long as he wasn't in your lane 90% of the time he wasn't doing anything wrong. I'll get downvoted for saying the truth, though.

He didn't break any rules though.......you just got mad and tilted yourself tbh. Hell, if that was a bannable offense then, shit, about 20% of the junglers i play with would be banned >>. Plus no one would want to jungle cause if you ever got behind you could be banned for taking minions in lane :(....trust me....junglers get more than their fair share of grief and flame lol. I dare say...its the role that gets flamed the most.

Would it be worth to open an all chat and tell the other team you're opening mid and ask them to report your jungler?

I figure it's not worth playing if you're not having fun and being trolled and would rather sacrifice the LP for less aggravation.
Definitely not worth raging (in chat) and getting a ban yourself.
Maybe you can AFK and come back in 10 minutes? Not sure if you still get a leavebuster penalty if you log back in?

I know you can fight and claw back into the game, but really if someone is trolling you, they just as likely will try other stuff?

Yes, there is. But it's not easy to be detected. For toxicity, they can just run a quick filter. For feeding, they have to manually review it.

There is no punishment for them. The only punishment comes whenever you respond to them quietly trolling... Then you get banned for something. This is a stupid game at times. Why not just allow toxicity with the right to mute people? If you don't want someone to be toxic, just mute them instead of crying like a 10 year old after the game

Short answer - No. Riot doesn't care if you have fun, only if you flame or not.

I have to admit, under some circumstances I DO troll in subtle ways without ever talking in chat. I usually just do very subtle things that I can't even remember off the top of my head, but I only ever do when people are toxic on my team in pre-lobby and even before minion spawns.. or a teammate is doing something really douchy like leaving his lane cause he doesn't like his lane for some reason and I usually only ever do this after a handful of bad games in a row.

They are almost never punished, and Riot likes to twist the knife in players back by more often acting on reports in the same game of people getting frustrated with the person actively ruining the game. I encourage 2nd/3rd monitors and Netflix/Twitch.
