My First Chat Restriction and it's Unwarranted

So Basically I got Chat Restricted for Defending myself from Flaming? xD I don't have the chat Logs for the whole team but Riot Provided me with mine. Let's have a look. Here the worst I said was "Dumbass" to someone who was flaming for literally 20 minutes Straight for having 30-40 less CS than my Lane Opponent(Being a Kayle). The Constant "Report Kayle" and ? Pings got to me. Again The worst I did was call them a dumbass. Literally my fucking mom calls me that everyday is everyone in this world toxic now? I'm not even mad that I got Punished I'm mad because the other person who was obviously a lot more toxic than me gets away with it? Just because I tried to be the bigger guy and not report them and they are butthurt enough to report me? What is this system? Alright Next.

Okay Now there's so much wrong with this. First I'm defending my friend who went 0/7 in lane so I told The Mid Cassio to stop talking because she's also feeding. Then she started flaming me for literally every mistake I made even when not near her and Kept saying "Report Leona". Alright great. Then This Jax Leap strikes into a fight and I go for the adc while he fights the Tanky Vi. That's where I call him "Dumbass" and that's it. After that I build some AP on Leona and basically carry having the best kda in the team. This Cassio for some stupid reason refuses to Shut up and keeps ranting about "Report Leona" And "Troll" Because I built some AP to do Damage with Leona.

Lesson of the Day: If you're the most butthurt person and you always report people after the game no matter how small of a mistake they make(Or if you just have a problem with them because they Pointed your mistake) You get people Reported and you're the happiest. The Person who plays smart, doesnt act like a child and forgives people after the game is TOXIC and must be Punished.

Also "Dumbass" is actually a Curse word worse than any other.

EDIT: Ah whatever at the end of the day I don't really care that I got chat Restricted not like it does anything anyway. The Point I tried to make is wether it was even Justified or not. Instead I got replies basically saying "you did do own it". The Thing is the system doesnt work. What have I learned from being chat restricted(Yes Took me a day and I'm already unrestricted): Report people even if you're wrong and make their life miserable? Mute everyone and don't ever try to defend your position? Something as small as calling someone "Dumbass" which you can do IRL is Taboo in a GAME? Are we even playing a game at this point? The System Does not Reduce Toxicity that's for sure.

Huh... Doesn't look like you muted them, which would be defending yourself. Looks like you retaliated.

You also do not know if they didn't get a punishment as you are not guaranteed an Instant Feedback Report for reporting.

There's a simple reason Riot only provides you with your chat logs: You are responsible for your own actions. The context is irrelevant. Take responsibility for what you said.

With that being said, you harassed and flamed your teammates in both games on multiple occasions. This was definitely justified. I'm sure if you read the logs carefully you can find where you might have crossed the line. Just mute, report at end of game, and move on. It's that easy.

When trying to defend their innocence, why do people complain about other "toxic players" and say that they should be banned and they haven't been without any knowledge about their other games? Also, how is your communication not childish?

That's sort of how it works actually. The IFS can punish minor toxicity, or trivial things typed in chat that have no business being punishable.

I hope i understood your comment if "mistake" implies something chat related
