AFK's, Toxicity, Trolls, and Flaming
I've only been playing for maybe a year now, but even throughout this year I've experienced the afks, trolls, the toxic players, and being flamed. Now, I'm not an veteran player who's been here since season 1, I'm not claiming to know everything about this game and say I'm the best, but I have seen my fair share of the toxic community.
The new system of choosing a primary role and a secondary role means is a good idea, yet I seem to (and many others) only get secondary role. And playing 16 games in a row of support isn't always the best feeling.
But most importantly are the trolls and the flaming. I've gone on an 9 game losing streak because of either an afk--or MULTIPLE afks, trolling, and flaming. Now don't get me wrong I'm not a good player, but at least I try and communicate positively with my team and try to win together. I can say for myself I never flame another player because I know it doesn't help. It doesn't help in the slightest to flame another person. And even though there's a mute button, people are still reluctant to press it because they still want to communicate with their teammates and try and win the game. But the flaming in games has increased to a point where Riot needs to step in and actually do something. Banning someone's account for 3 days isn't enough. When people are losing over and over and over again because of something that they cannot control, someone may be in Bronze/Silver/Gold/Plat and trying to climb and trying their absolute hardest cannot because of someone else's doing.
For example, I was in a ranked game, in my promos, and I ended up getting someone who at the very first minute of the game said they were going to feed the entire game. And at first I said, "okay this guy isn't REALLY going to do that. Maybe he's just joking." No. He went Shaco support and ended up only getting mobi boots and literally fed the enemy team to the point the other four of us couldn't do anything. No matter how hard we asked the other team to please just leave him alone they wouldn't, even they agreed it wasn't fair. At the end of the game that Shaco went 0-29 with only mobi boots. Obviously we lost and yes we reported him, but why is it that people like him are in the community that we can't do anything about. No matter how many times we report or ask to stop, nothing happens. And the thing is, with this new season, it has been happening A LOT. And it's just gonna keep happening.
I just don't know what to do anymore. I wanna play the game, I do love this game, and yes we get those games with awesome people and no trolls but that right now seems to be one in a million.
